Gorgeously decorated property in a very central location. It was the best accommodation we’ve stayed in for 2 months. Very comfortable beds, great showers. Fantastic ambience suited to the area. Loved it! Hosts were very responsive.

Only enough hot water for 1 shower after arriving…perhaps the prior tenants had used it all, as it was fine after that day. We had trouble finding the parking, but that was our fault, as the hosts provided very detailed information.

Location and overall presentation

The proprietor refused to provide the access code details until the first day of the booking. I had been apprehensive about that as a week earlier I had been asked to provide personal details ( passport, age etc) and it was explained that if I did not provide those details the proprietor would not provide me with the access codes. This caused me some concern. Generally the proprietors were tardy at replying to emails or not at all. The cooking stove was difficult to operate and I had to ring the host to get video instructions . As a result I couldn’t even make a cup of coffee for a couple of days. There should have been clear written instructions provided at the premises. There were 2 or 3 brass vases which were dangerous. One of these fell onto my colleagues foot and caused a skin laceration. They were relatively unstable on their bases and easily knocked over. There was also another grievance which I cannot recall now
