Flower Taormina Apartment

Promossa a pieni voti, struttura pulitissima e super accogliente.

Unica pecca (ma non è responsabilità dell’host) è che non c’è un supermercato nelle vicinanze quindi avrei gradito almeno trovare dell’acqua in casa dato che reperirla risulta un po’ difficoltoso.

Joli appartement confortable. Tout le nécessaire est présent.

Un peu éloigné du cœur de vieille ville mais sans souci à pied malgré tout.

Recommendation for nearby paid parking was key as Taormina is not parking-friendly and very crowded with tourists. The apartment is no-frills with a good location close to, but not inside, the city center. There was enough hot water and pressure to shower for a family of 4, although the shower itself was very small and leaked a little at the bottom. Basic furniture was provided, but biggest bed was not very comfortable. Good WiFi, didn't use TV. Okay for 2 nights. Owner sent some local recommendations via text.

This was a business-run apartment and we never met the owner who communicated via WhatsApp. There was no number identifying the building, so the owner sent us a photo of the lock-box and entry. There were no little extras like bottled water, snacks, or laundry detergent, which caused a bit of stress as it was a long holiday weekend and not all stores were open. Fortunately, we located the Coop, a 15 minute walk uphill, which had the basics we needed. Check-out time was very early, 9:00-9:30, which was posted inside the living room and also a text reminder sent by the owner.
