Kubu Cempaka Kuning

Very spacious, well-maintained and clean. Gorgeous Southeast Asian architecture but fitted with modern conveniences. Adi and the rest of the friendly staff were proactive on WhatsApp and in person, such as asking us about our schedules for the day so they could come in and do housekeeping. Everything was working well, from the air conditioning to the outdoor showers to the kitchen. Had a lovely time at the villa pool too in the morning and evening. It is located in a central but quiet location - a lot of great shopping and dining is within walking distance. We had no problem booking both cars and bikes on Grab to and from the villa.

This wasn’t a problem for us, but do keep in mind the bathrooms and living room are open-air so you do encounter the occasional harmless lizard or bug. keep repellent handy for mosquitoes - but that’s for everywhere anyway.

Kubu Cempaka Kuning is an amazing traditional Balinese Villa with everything you could want. Comfortable rooms, comfortable beds and amazing gardens! Yuli is an amazing housekeeper who always had a smile on her face and a willingness to chat. We mentioned that we were looking for something in particular and next thing we knew she was at the shops getting for us. Adi was very helpful and also happy to chat. We are regular Bali travelers and this Villa was up there for facilities and value.

Everything! The property is beautiful, the photos really do not do it justice. Adi the property manager made our stay even more memorable, his hospitality was amazing, I’ve never witnessed anything like it. The rest of the staff are equally as amazing, they couldn’t do enough for you, whilst always having a big smile on their faces. Thank you for everything Adi & Co. We cannot wait to come back!
