Disappointing stay - complaint - feedback being heard.
The property is located in a close proximity to the beach and the town centre which is really convenient and makes it easy and convenient when travelling with family.
Unfortunately the property was not equipped with great facilities,I.e. the heating was not working, neither was the hot water (basically we could not shower or wash our faces properly). Even though we stayed only one night - and it was a cold night- the temperature in the room was unbearably low so we had to sleep in our clothes. Furthermore the TV remote control was left without batteries and the kettle was faulty too.
The reception of the hotel is located in another building, which is not signposted anywhere nor noted on the hotel room advert. The access code given in the booking confirmation / admission communication is not the code to access the hotel room. The code must be obtained from the reception.
On the day of the stay we have complained to the reception about all of the above twice, however now appropriate fix was applied not the replacement room offered.
We have raised an official complaint on the day of our departure and the manager of the hotel ensured that we will be issued a compensation for the inconvenience and the necessary maintenance will be carried out to address the inadequacies of the facilities. After few days of following up the 50% refund was issued to us and hotel manager advised that the necessary maintenance perks are underway.
We were very disappointed with the experience during the stay in the hotel, but were pleased that the hotel manager have taken our feedback seriously. Hope the hotel room will be soon ready to accommodate families again and this time ensure the guests are leaving the hotel happy the same as they arrive :) good luck!

Stayed here after a previous hotel had double booked a room, staff were pleasant but room was dirty, and had no WiFi so

The man at reception was very welcoming & helpful. He was warm & friendly & showed me to a room in a separate building.

Good location for my job.
Quiet for a Saturday night.
No WIFI.
No TV connection due to no WIFI.
Smelly drains in the en-suite.
No towel hooks.
Safety lock on room door broken. Slept with chair next to door.
Filthy carpets. Proper gross but I was told they are renovating.
No bed side lamp or bed side table. Only main light.

Quite unpleasant, difficult to sleep due to heat and noise and the room was the bare minimum.

The reception was closed on arrival, I am assuming the owners had temporarily left so we had to check in at a different hotel which was quite confusing. The room was extremely hot with only a small window which did not open very far and let in a lot of outdoor noise, it was very difficult to get to sleep. The shower room was very small and again very hot.
There was a lot of noise happening inside the hotel, lots of banging and loud voices very early in the morning. I will not be staying here again.

Not a lot! Tried to find a nice thing to say but unfortunately I can’t.
This absolutely does not suit for a family break, more of a hostel type accommodation.
We checked out immediately after arriving because we were very unhappy and felt unsafe with the accommodation.
A few reasons:
It stank especially throughout the hallway.
It wasn’t safe. even though it’s listed with family rooms.
It was very cold.
The bathroom door didn’t shut, the tv controls didn’t even work properly.
The mattresses on the bunkbeds were far too thick on the top bunk for young children to sleep safely (which is actually a guideline which should be followed)
There was a junkie at the door. No security. With lower floor windows wide open for the junkies on the door step to come through if needed.
I was so excited for a New Year’s Eve treat for my children and family and have left feeling deflated and very disappointed that we have had to go back home!
