Serenity home in the heart of city

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce logement, très propre, confortable, fonctionnel et bien équipé. La literie est excellente, aussi bien les matelas que les oreillers. Nous avons également apprécié les petites attentions : condiments à disposition, gel douche, shampoing et après-shampoing, ainsi que deux serviettes par personne. La présence d’une machine à laver et d’un sèche-linge est un vrai plus pour une famille. L’emplacement est très pratique, à environ 17 minutes à pied du centre-ville, avec un centre commercial et une aire de jeux pour enfants à seulement 2 minutes. L’arrivée autonome avec la boîte à clés sécurisée est très pratique, tout comme la proximité immédiate des poubelles.

Le principal point négatif reste le bruit. Le logement est équipé de fenêtres à simple vitrage et se trouve juste à côté d’un bar très fréquenté, ce qui entraîne des nuisances sonores et parfois des odeurs désagréables. À notre arrivée, le logement n’était malheureusement pas prêt à l’heure prévue. Nous aurions apprécié qu’on nous propose de déposer nos valises et qu’on nous indique la présence du centre commercial à proximité pour patienter autour d’un café. Nous avons également fait la rencontre d’une araignée particulièrement impressionnante par sa taille à l’intérieur du logement ! Enfin, un deuxième étendoir à linge, ou un modèle plus grand, serait appréciable pour les familles.

The water leaked on the floor from the shower each morning which required mopping up and use of towels

Loved the charm and character of this older-style apartment. Quaint, cosy, and a great reflection of the surrounding Sydney suburb. I did like how close this was located to Sydney Broadway allowing time to get shopping.

The apartment had plenty of character, but there were a few drawbacks. It was located next to a pub, which is noisy. The stairs were very steep and may not be suitable for those with mobility concerns. The toilet was located downstairs directly off the kitchen, which may not suit all guests and the shower leaked, foam was used as a makeshift seal which looked untidy and didnt stop the leaking. The bed was uncomfortable, there were limited power points near the bed, and one lamp was not even plugged in nor could it reach. The power for the TV was draped via an extension lead over a chair. The apartment was further from the city than I had anticipated and located more in the suburbs so be mindful to look at that when booking if wanting a more central CBD location. For those that don’t have pets, the couch had pet hair all over it.
