Fabulous stay - my new fave place in Ubud

Super clean, new (less than one year old), quiet and comfortable. The property is located off the road, so minimal traffic noise, is next to a rice paddy field (beautiful view) and there is a telecoms tower nearby so the wifi is excellent! The staff are super friendly and breakfast has good options (omelette, nasi goreng, mie goreng etc). A great supermarket (Pepito's) is 3 mins walk away. Highly recommend room 8 which is upstairs on the corner overlooking the pool and rice field.

There are steps to get up to the property, so it's not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Relaxing stay, good food and spacious rooms.

We loved the restaurant next door, cheap and delicious. The location overall was very nice, not in the centre but walkable. The hotel was very clean, spacious, super calm and nice atmosphere.

Breakfast was nice, just not always served on time. The sheets and towels were pretty stained, but they were able to exchange them after bringing this issue up.

Good price for a good hotel it’s not a 4 or 5 star so set expectations appropriately

Nice big and clean rooms , nice attentive service staff. Very nice setting (once you survive the ubud traffic) Pool was very clean and refreshing.

Breakfast very limited. Getting hand/ face towels was a struggle. There r very limited eating options around the hotel, getting to ubud palace etc takes 20-30min for 2-4 kms based on traffic and there is always traffic. Ubud is not a walkable city so u have to get in a car.

Amazing stay near the Monkey forest.

Location is really good for Ubud, 10min by foot to restaurants/coffe shops. 15min walk to monkey forest. Really good market is only 5min walk from the property. Pool and yard is amaazing, very clean and chill. Staff is really nice, friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. There is a vegan warung attached to the property. You can take coffee or juices from there. Really great value for money.

Breakfast is really not that tasty and portions are really small. It could be improved. They could add some more lounge chairs to the pool, there are only 3 currently.

Entrance is pretty bad but the room quality is good. Breakfast quality and quantity are not good.

Entrance of the hotel is pretty bad. We had a doubt if we have reached correct place. We have to climb many steps with all the luggage. There was no lighting in the entrance. Very limited breakfast options. Quantity was also limited.

A few more small things in the rooms like two bedside table lamps, bathmats and handtowels for the bathrooms would be nice. Also the paths need to be pressure blastered as they have build up on them and I slipped.

If you stay in Ubud we 100% recommend staying here😊

Our stay was exceptional! All the staff was so friendly, they were helpful with everything on every step. They rented us a motorbike for 5 days, cleaned our room in between the stay and we also ordered laundry service twice which was very fast, the clothes came back great. Thank you all again! 😊 Otherwise the retreat is simply stunning, it is very close to the Ubud centre but still secluded enough for peaceful relaxing by the pool. The pool is well maintained and they also provide you with towels for swimming. Rooms are spacious, bright and clean. Maybe it is a bit hard to find at first but the gps guides you, otherwise you can just call them via whatsapp and they will surely help you. They even did us a favor and let us leave the luggage there after check out because our flight home was in the evening and when we returned back from the city they let us use the spa shower before going on a long way home.

Breakfast was okay, but nothing special, banana panckakes were maybe on the chewy side but still out favorite food on the menu. Scrambled eggs were amazing.

Nice and Clean!

It's not a super-luxurious place, but it's clean. In Bali they have lower standards for cleaning than in Europe so in my 3 months spend there this was my challenge: to find clean accomodation. But this place was simple, but very clean. Another advantage is that, although is in the Center where normally is noise, this place is very quiet. So, to get central and quiet is another "hard to find" in Bali and this place has it. They had very nice garden and swimming pool.

There is nothing I did not like. As I said, is not the most luxurious place, but it's clean, staff is nice and you can have your comfy stay in the middle of Ubud.

All that I needed

Amazing time in Siboghana retreat! The most important point is the staff which are incredible friendly and helpful! The place was extremely clean and my room was sooo big with a big balcony, which I loved! The pool always clean and perfect for relax and chill. I extended my stay for two more nights :)

This is just a suggestion, breakfast is good but it will be nice to have more quantity or complete proposal.

Stayed here for 5 nights with my husband and kids. Loved getting there every night after a long day. Clean and cozy, slept really good! Staff is very polite and respectful. Breakfast was good everyday. Close to the center. Loved our stay here.

Perfect stay

Everything we hoped for and more. The room was beautiful and incredibly comfortable. The staff were amazing — they took care of everything for us, from renting a scooter to organizing our Mount Batur hike, taxis, and even boat transfers (thank you, Nikadek). The pool is hands down the best we’ve seen in Bali — stunning and so relaxing.

Breakfast could be a bit more generous. But overall, a fantastic experience.

Super clean place with great staff.

Super clean room, super nice pool, and super nice staff. Breakfasts were excellent. Easy walk to south Bali shopping and restaurants. Right across the street from both a convenience store and a healthy food store for drinks and snacks. Barbershop, flower shop, incense shop, large grocery store, medical clinic, and gym all only a block away.

Plan to walk or use scooters to get around. The road in front of Siboghana gets completely backed up with traffic, so expect significant delays if you need a car to get anywhere. Thumping bass can very occasionally be heard until 9 or 10pm from events at the nearby Museum of Art.

It’s a little way out of Ubud, so peaceful and quiet. Grab cars very cheap to get into the centre. It’s spotlessly clean and the staff are very attentive.

It worths the money I pay and I will go back

The hotel is very quiet and only have 8 rooms, it is brand new and clean, bed is super comfortable. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. It is right next to a supermarket that you can get everything you need. I extended my stay and wish I can stay longer.

The street has a very bad traffic but nothing to do with the hotel.

Идеальное расположение для семьи - тихо, хотя в центре Убуда (5-7 минут до центральных улиц пешком, неспешным шагом). В самом Убуде шумно и большой трафик, а в Siboghana тихо. Чистый-чистый бассейн. Хорошие большие номера в минималистично и стиле. Очень дружелюбный и приветливый персонал.. Вечерами на стенах всегда несколько гекконов 🤗. Отель для тех, кому нужна тишина и спокойствие (но от шумных гостей, конечно, никто не застрахован - мы по приезду вечером говорили в полный голос на террасе и менеджер ласково попросил беречь медитацию соседей 🙏) P.S. Кстати, местные очень хвалили это место. Кроме того, в 2-х минутах местный музей ARMA и напротив него супермаркет и вполне нормальными ценами и принимают UnionPay РСХБ 😉.

Это мелочи и никакой особой роли для нас не играли: 1. Сливы в ванной не всегда быстро справляются 2. Завтраки могли бы быть более разнообразными (не шведский стол).

Ruime nieuwe kamers op prima locatie

Nieuwe, schone en ruime kamers, prima faciliteiten en lieve en behulpzaam personeel. We zijn hierheen verhuisd omdat onze andere accommodatie in Ubud niet beviel en dit hotel was een verademing. Prima locatie, heel rustig gelegen maar op een paar minuten lopen dan de hoofdstraat en een lekker zwembad om even af te koelen.

Een paar kleine tips: plaats wat stoelen in de kamer, zorg voor een handdoekrek in de badkamer.

Rustige plek en toch vlakbij het centrum

Deze plek is ongelooflijk rustig en toch slechts een korte wandeling verwijderd van het superdrukke centrum van Ubud. Museum Arma (een aanrader, vind ik) ligt vlakbij. De kamers zijn heel proper en ruim. Ik apprecieerde de vele kunstwerken die in de kamers en in de gangen ophingen. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam en zorgde zelfs voor een attentie voor de jarige in ons gezelschap. De dames hadden duidelijk veel plezier in het organiseren van de verrassing voor de jarige.

Het wegje ernaartoe kan inderdaad een poetsbeurt met een hogedrukreiniger gebruiken, want de stenen trappen liggen er glad bij.

Rundum zufrieden - sehr empfehlenswert!

Das Personal war super freundlich, aufmerksam und ist sofort auf all unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Die ruhige Lage des Hotels hat den Aufenthalt zusätzlich angenehm gemacht. Gleichzeitig ist die Anbindung gut, sodass man schnell überall hinkommt. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr lecker. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert – ich komme gerne wieder!

No es un hotel de 4 estrellas

La localización y la amibilidad del personal

No es un 4 estrellas , ni se acerca. La habitación era grande pero no tenía ninguna balda en el lavabo, ni tenía silla en el escritorio. La ducha era abierta con lo se moja todo el lavabo cada vez q te duchas. La puerta y el grifo medio rotos. La piscina ,era mas un estanque. No se puede acceder con coche, con maleta pesada has de subir escaleras para llegar y si te toca el piso de arriba, más escaleras porque no hay ascensor. No es 24h. El almuerzo es escaso, uno noodles o arroz o 2 huevos con 3 tostadas(sin mantequilla ni mermelada)

Très bon séjour

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Siboghana, l'emplacement est idéal proche des attractions à pied ( forêt des singes, Ubud Palace, marché...) et très calme. La chambre est très propre et faite chaque jour. Le personnel est adorable toujours prêt à rendre service sur n'importe quel sujet. Il nous ont envoyé un chauffeur pour venir nous chercher à l'aéroport qui a eu une très bonne communication avec nous malgré nos 6 heures de retard. Nous avons pû faire des massages sur place hyper relaxants et concernant le petit déjeuner vous pouvez si vous le désirez le compléter à la carte pour une modique somme.

Sehr gute, ruhige und saubere Unterkunft

Die Lage ist super und mit den Gojek oder Grab bikes kommt man überall schnell und günstig hin / es gibt nur wenige Zimmer und daher war es dort sehr ruhig / der Pool direkt vor den Zimmern ist herrlich zum relaxen u die Temperatur angenehm / das Personal Kadek, Julia, Putu sprechen sehr gut Englisch und waren super nett. Das Frühstück ist für das Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis gut. Ich würde jederzeit zum Siboghana Retreat zurück kommen.

Es wäre schön wenn man einen Stuhl im Zimmer hätte um dort Kleidung oder sonstiges abzulegen

Lo consiglio!!!

Posizione ottima per noi che ci muovevamo in moto. In 10 minuti eravamo in centro ma in una posizione molto tranquilla. Piccola piscina ma perfetta per un po' di relax. Tutto pulitissimo. Buona la colazione e gentilissimo tutto lo staff...ci tornerei quindi lo consiglio
