Ecorest Villa Cat Ba Moutain View

Both the owner and the staff are always smiling, helpful, and ready to provide the best service. You always feel welcome. The owner has driven us into town for free several times, and every time we head out the door, they always provide us with a free banana and water. We were treated like part of their family. My husband forgot—or lost—his wallet in town, and the owner drove him around to various places to look for it. We were also invited to dinner (for free) the day before we were due to check out. I highly recommend this place, Ecorest Villa Cat Ba Mountain View

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for 6 nights, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Vietnam. From the moment my husband and I arrived, we were blown away by the incredible hospitality of the family who runs this place. It’s rare to find a spot that feels this clean, comfortable, and genuinely warm. You can instantly tell that this hotel is a passion project for a close-knit family who truly loves what they do. Their authentic care and kindness made us feel as cozy and safe as if we were staying at home, even though we were thousands of miles away. Here are just a few reasons why this stay was so special to us: Unmatched Care & Help: They are literally available 24/7 to help with anything you could possibly need. What we appreciated most was their complete honesty — when asking for advice on local tours and activities, they gave us direct, genuine recommendations rather than just trying to sell us something. Seamless Organization: They arranged everything for our entire stay, including renting a great scooter for us, which made exploring the island so easy and unforgettable. They also organized a birthday celebration for us without a single hesitation — you could see they genuinely enjoyed creating that special moment for us! A True Family Welcome: One evening, they even invited us to join their family dinner! They showered us with delicious food, drinks, and great conversation. It felt like being embraced by old friends. Delicious Homemade Breakfasts: The breakfasts every morning were fresh, wholesome, and so delicious. You could literally taste the quality (pretty sure those eggs came straight from happy backyard chickens!). If you are looking for a place where you aren’t just another guest, but someone genuinely cared for, look no further. We recommend this wonderful hotel from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for making our vacation so memorable and cozy! ❤️

The staff was AMAZING. Loveliest people I’ve met and they were helpful with everything you needed. It also felt super safe and quiet.

The only problem I had was that my big overhead shower didn’t work. The location was a bit away from centrum but that was a personal choice.

This property was not what I expected. The steps are very steep to the rooms, no lifts, as for the pool you can only sit in it, no swimming. The beach is up the road( main road) so not beach front. And at the moment there is building work going on at the side of the property
