Villa Calma

The property is exactly as shown in the photos. It is located about a 10–15 minute walk from the main village, making it a peaceful and quiet place to stay. The views from the terrace are stunning, and the pool and barbecue are great additions. The house was clean and well maintained. The airconditioners inside the house do a great job keeping the house cool. One thing to keep in mind is that the house is located along a pedestrian path and cannot be accessed directly by car. As previous guests have mentioned, you need to walk approximately 100 meters from where you park. In addition, the entrance to the property involves some stairs, so it is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users or guests with significant mobility limitations.

Some things that could improve are: - Some of the kitchen amenities are a bit outdated. For example, the knives are quite dull, there is no cutting board, and the refrigerator struggled to keep food and drinks cold when it was full. - Since tap water on the island is generally not used for drinking, it would be a thoughtful gesture to provide one or two bottles of drinking water for guests upon arrival, especially for those arriving late or after a long journey. - The bathroom windows do not have mosquito or insect screens, so insects can easily enter if the windows are left open. - Although we did not try it, the dishwasher looked not functional (semi broken door). In case it was functional, there were no dishwasher tablets to use.
