Blue Boat Hostel Myeongdong

My stay at Blue Boat Hostel was truly an experience that words can barely describe. From the moment I entered the establishment, I knew I was about to embark on a journey that would forever alter my perception of accommodation, human interaction, and the fundamental meaning of personal space. The location was certainly convenient, allowing me to explore the beautiful streets of Seoul with relative ease. However, the hostel environment introduced me to an unexpected phenomenon known as living among strangers. Never in my life had I witnessed so many unfamiliar individuals existing within such close proximity to one another, each seemingly possessing their own mysterious backstory and questionable sleeping schedule. The atmosphere was certainly unique. Every hallway carried the unmistakable energy of people who had arrived from different corners of the world, united by the universal desire to save money on accommodation. It was almost poetic, really. A gathering of international travelers, each pursuing their dreams, while I stood there wondering whether I had accidentally booked a social experiment instead of a place to sleep. Nevertheless, the staff and facilities provided the basic necessities expected of a hostel. The experience taught me an important lesson: sometimes, the true luxury of traveling is not a comfortable bed or a convenient location, but the ability to appreciate the simple privilege of having a room where nobody knows your name. Overall, Blue Boat Hostel delivered an unforgettable experience. Would I return? Perhaps. Would I recommend it to someone who enjoys meeting strangers, embracing unpredictability, and discovering new dimensions of personal boundaries? Absolutely. Rating: 5/5 for character development, 2/5 for emotional stability. Thank you, Blue Boat Hostel, for giving me memories that no amount of money could buy. Unfortunately, money was precisely what I was trying to save.

We like our stay in Seoul, stayed at Blue Boat Myeondong. Convenient area, lots of cafe and restaurants nearby, walking distance to airport limousine bus stop. Myeongdong street is just a walk away!! Rates is very reasonable if you dont mind a bathroom / shower sharing. and no elevator. Over all stay was great!! you can maximize your budget!!!

Super clean, great checkin and close to everything

If you can’t walk up and down with your luggage to get to your room on top floor, then consider staying elsewhere. This hostel has no elevator, no accessibility. Nice big room for family but that’s about it.
