Wonderful quirky shepherd's hut on mountainside with gorgeous views. Comfy bed and sofa. Hot water on tap at all times. All mod cons and better Wifi than at home! Very friendly cat, likes a pouch of food.
Access track a bit scary but you get used to it!

De locatie en omgeving was prachtig! Midden in een bos waar je mooie wandelingen kon starten. Het voelt aan als een ‘back to basic’-verblijf, maar met toch voldoende luxe om er met gemak en comfort te verblijven. Heel mooi uitzicht en zeer veel sterren te zien. Grote betrokkenheid van de host. Een heel duidelijke beschrijving van de route (aangezien deze anders wel wat zoeken was), en direct te contacteren bij vragen. Hij stuurde ook enkele wandelroutes door die je zelf moeilijk op een kaart kan vinden.
Klein detail dat misschien wat optimaler kan is dat het warm water van de douche zeer snel op was en je met koud water moest douchen (maar in deze warmte niet zo’n groot probleem). Ook was de afgoot aan de douche niet zo optimaal waardoor na een korte douche de badkamer volledig onder water stond en wel wat opkuiswerk nodig was.
