About this house rental
Holiday home at the foot of Monte Corrasi in Oliena (province of Nuoro), with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. The area is rich in archaeological sites such as Tiscali, a prehistoric settlement of the Nuragic culture, and the Lanaittu Valley, where the cultures of the Sardinian Pelliti and the Roman rulers meet. The house is also not far from the famous beaches of San Teodoro (79 km) on the east coast of Sardinia. In fact, the location is ideal to reach these beautiful beaches, as well as the beaches of the Gulf of Orosei, about 32 km away. Nature lovers can go on hikes through the Gennargentu Nature Park and discover the numerous plant and animal species in the park. The unspoilt nature of the island is unique in its kind, while the local cuisine uses typical and unique products that are highly appreciated by all holidaymakers (just think of porceddu, the carasau bread, the typical Sardinian flatbread or the famous Seada dessert). Olbia airport is 98 kilometres away.
