Papaya Lodge

The location is phenomenal if you’re interested in nature. The lodge is very well equipped, comfortable and clean. We saw two species of toucans, three species of tanagers and two species of hummingbirds in the garden amongst a host of other birds. The frog calls at night were just incredible! My partner wears ear plugs, but I loved laying there listening to all the nocturnal nature. Like others, I would definitely recommend a 4x4 and access via the north route. We first arrived via the southern route in the dark, which was an adventure to say the least, but fun all the same and no harm done. WiFi would be useful to save relying on phone data. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the evenings, but we were prepared with spray and the net over the bed was very welcome.

Nos ha encantado la cabaña, muy bonita y con todo lo necesario. Está rodeada de naturaleza y se ven muchas aves. Lo hemos disfrutado mucho.

La difficulté d’accès (route en pierre / 15-20 min pour faire 5kms), les nombreux insectes malgré les mousquetaires

Super logement au milieu de la montagne. Déconnexion totale sans wifi avec beaucoup d’oiseau autour de la maison - eau chaude, super douche - literie parfaite

- pas de wifi (capte uniquement réseau claro) - seulement 3 chaises longues manquerait 1 en plus pour être parfait - plaque de cuisson un peu dangereuse ⚠️
