Lovely complex and clean site and caravan. Only downside was the chippy being the only takeaway open on site

Very basic & bland - overpriced.

The only good thing was the location and gas heating in the caravan.

Way over priced for 2 nights. Caravan was very basic. No towels or soap. No tea, coffee, milk or sugar. Not even any decor. Mattress seemed aged as we could feel the individual springs. Quilt covers way too big with open ends. Shop on site was not stocked well. Staff not visible apart from in the bar. No instructions for the heating. Wifi was ok but came at a cost. No information re check in/out times. The caravans appear to be squeezed in with just about enough room for 2 cars, so no outdoor space. Very plain both indoors and outdoors - no trees or other greenery on the park that we saw.

Beautiful property with amazing views

The holiday park was very nice, had everything you would need to enjoy your stay for adults and kids, it's in a great location and 5 mins drive to Barmouth sea front, the pod it self was amazing and we totally enjoyed our stay the décor and layout was done to a high standard, the view is absolutely breathtaking and you could not get more of a better view, your metres away from the sea. I would definitely highly recommend this property. The only issue I had was communication when I was asking about towels as I sure a previous review I did not get a reply, but there was towels at the property when arrived. Overall the stay was very good and comfortable, I would love to visit again in the near future.

Sunnysands is superb. But this particular host is the worst.

The location was fantastic.

One of the worst ever hosts I have ever come across. Once the booking was made, host did not even provide the check-in details. We reached the place, and yet there was no information about the caravan to go to. Phoned the host over 30 times, none of them were answered even on the following day. Was stranded with the family in the night and thankfully, the security manager of sunnysands arranged an alternative caravan on the site for a full extra pay.

Pod stay

Location of the pod. Lovely sea view. It was clean, good shower. A 2 night stay was ok, I couldn't stay in there for a week for 3 adults as it was very compact

In the pod, there is no dish drainer or scouring pad. No oven gloves or tea towels. A saucepan had a loose handle.

Outstanding location!

The location is absolutely amazing. The view is outstanding as you are so close to the shore, you can fall asleep hearing the waves crash and sit on the patio watching the tide as it is so close.

Likes: the pod was warm and came with loads of cleaning appliances for long stays including hoover the balcony area was amazing and the waves come right up to the rocks in the evening perfect for star gazing and to read a book The bed was super comfy along with the sofa and lots of channels on the tv so something fot everyone to watch Waterfall shower was lovley and got hot quickly :) All the mood lighting was amazing and made cabin very relaxing for the evening so you could still enjoy the view It was very short walk to the entertainment area and food onsite Staff were super friendly Dislike:There was some miss communication from our booking that said Towels, hairdryer & toiletries (not inducing toilet paper) were included on the details when we booked but these were not available on arrival and were told they wernt available in the pod we booked and was a mistake how ever a very helpful lady there got us some towels to use for our stay x Only other issue is some of the cooking pans and trays were a little dirty with burned food on a couple of items
