My Nest

The location is superb! It's a short walk to Old Town, lots of restaurants and shopping. It's also located right next to a wine window, that serves excellent and cheap wine. We could walk to almost anything from the appartment. We were also happy to have access to a washing machine, since we were staying for a long time. The appartment has a nice layout and a full kitchen, which we didn't use for our stay. The host replies fast and contacted the neighbor to help, when we arrived to a locked gate - everything was sorted quickly.

The appartment is very humid, even with windows open every day. This resulted in everything from our clothes to bed sheets and towels being damp most of the time. A dehumidifier would make the place a lot more comfortable. The mattress in the double bed was really bad - you can feel all the springs digging in to your hips and back, and when you turn, the entire bed wobbles like a water bed, so the discomfort woke us up a lot, and we unfortunately didn't have a good nights sleep during our stay. Maybe a good top mattress could fix this - or else a new mattress. Some night stands with bedside lamps would also be a nice addition to the bedroom. We didn't have a lot of contact with the host during our stay, and the details about payment (when and where) weren't clear before after we arrived, but he was polite and replied fast when contacted. When we arrived, there was wet dishware drying from the previous guests, open bag of pasta and left over eggs in the fridge and several dirty dish cloths drying in the kitchen - it didn't really give the impression of a clean and tidy space ready for new guests.

Fantastic location very responsive owners. The property had a nice style to it and a nice layout. There were extras like a hairdryer and plenty of sockets for charging things. The neighbourhood was so well located with plenty of nice restaurants and a good vibe, easy to reach everything.

The bed was so hard and uncomfortable that I would wake up in the night and 3 of my 4 limbs were dead. I slept terribly as the bed was so hard and I could feel the springs. My friend did not sleep well on her bed either. The bed sheets were old as were the towels that were provided at the property. The apartment was also a bit chilly and dark although it was June because it is on the ground floor facing a small courtyard so you have to put the lights on in the daytime. We also found a cockroach in the kitchen sink and another one by the front entrance door but I am not sure what (if anything) the owners could do about that..

Perfect location, quiet and yet very central, walking distance to many delights Tbilisi has to offer. The property is very well maintained and the host is very attentive, fast responses and excellent hospitality. We definitely will be back, many thanks!

Location was the best thing

Should be renamed as the Cave. Very dark and humid and was probably one of the only apartments that didn't have A/C. The main bed was solid, like sleeping on planks of wood, only hangers were tiny children's type, glass panelling between the two bedrooms so you could see in.
