Escape to a peaceful, private cabin perfectly situated in Speculator, NY, offering the ultimate Adirondack experience. Whether you're seeking outdoor adventure or a cozy retreat, our cabin is designed to provide everything you need in a convenient and serene setting.
What to Expect:
Prime Location:
- 3 min walk to deeded lake access for launching kayaks, ice fishing, hopping on lake with snowmobiles, or using fishing platforms
- 4 min drive to Camp of the Woods
- 5 min drive to Village Beach of Speculator
- 6 min drive to main strip with shops/restaurants/grocery store
- 8 min drive to Oak Mountain for skiing and mountain biking
- 8 min drive to Lake Pleasant Golf Course
- 11 min drive to Moffitt Beach
Oversized Heated Garage & Trailer Parking:
-You will have full use of heated garage w/ additional finished space upstairs for your cars, skis, snowmobiles, mountain bikes, or whatever you need. -There is also enough space for parking sled trailer. See pictures.
Comfortable Accommodations:
-Two bedrooms have queen beds and one has two twin beds. Our goal was to make these beds super comfy for a good nights sleep.
- Power strips with outlets and USB ports in each bedroom.
Fully Equipped Kitchen & Bathroom:
-Stocked with cookware, utensils, coffee maker, oils, and more—perfect for preparing your own meals.
-Dish soap, starter toilet paper and paper towels will be supplied to help you get started and then the rest is up to you.
-We leave 12 clean towels out for your stay.
Outdoor Amenities:
-Enjoy evenings around the fire pit
-BBQ grill, picnic table, and two tranquil porches (screened and 3-season) for outdoor dining and relaxation.
-Yard for kids and pets to play in
Family-Friendly Features:
-Children’s dining sets, toys, books, high chair &pack 'n play available upon request.
Entertainment:
-Wifi and a smart tv *Pictures were taken before TV placed over the fireplace.
-Games provided for family fun

Cozy and inviting log cabin style cottage. We loved the fireplace and it was exactly what old college friends needed for a ladies get away into the woods!!

My husband and I were happy with our stay. The location was decent. Not very much in the area. But there was a small grocery store, small liquor store, enough for what we needed for a couple of days. There is an amazing waterfall (Auger Falls) about 10 minutes from the cabin. We recommend checking that out. The town of North creek is about 35 min away. They have some restaurants, bigger grocery store and a few shops and cafes. Just an FYI if you're looking for a little info about the surrounding area. The cabin itself was very clean. It had most everything we needed. Loved that they supplied plenty of towels and TP. Also, it's the very small things that make me feel more at home such as a brand new kitchen sponge. As silly as it sounds, it makes a difference to me. The cabin definitely has a rustic feel to it. It was comfortable and cozy and plenty of room. It is very secluded and quiet. We enjoyed the cabin. This spot was exactly as described. Super clean, private, and no clutter. Tastefully decorated, cozy, and plenty of space. A short drive to Oak Mountain for snowboarding.
