Nicely appointed home with decor that sure makes you feel like you’re in the great outdoors, even when you are inside. Everything you need is close by and the warm lake water and sandy beach down the lane is great for a swim. Restaurants and boat rental nearby. Nice deck with gas fire pit and a Mack-daddy Weber grill round it out.

1. The check-in process was smooth and the house was, for the most part, as good as described.
2. However, it was so much smaller in real life than it seemed on the photos. A pretty small cabin indeed.
3. The beach was so tiny and we are not allowed to get on the bridge. The two kayaks were not there, either. Not much to do at the house besides watching TV.
4. The towels are really old and well used. The mattresses in the small bedroom were super uncomfortable I had a very bad sleep during the two nights there, and it pretty much ruined my experience at this house. The kitchen equipment (pots and pans) were old and scratched. There was no dishwasher nor dish rack and tray.
5. The kid loved the bear themed interior, though.
