About this farm stay rental

Guests will experience privacy and tranquility amidst Kentucky fields and woods. White Oak Point is a working farm that has been in the Clore family for over 200 years. Current farm operations include pastures for hay and an apiary with 20 beehives. Guests may arrange with the host to visit the apiary. You may also arrange to hike trails through the farm's wooded acres. A portion of the farm acreage is also leased to neighbors at Woodland Farm for their pasture-raised American Bison—you may see bison grazing on your way in!

White Oak Point is a 30 minute drive from Louisville, where guests can enjoy arts, dining, music, sports, and sightseeing. Whether you are seeking a quiet retreat, a cozy place to spend time with your favorite people, or a home base as you explore the surrounding area, this charming farmhouse is equipped with everything you need.

Bedroom 1 has a king bed with a Sleep Number mattress, a full bathroom en suite, and access to a small outdoor deck.
Bedroom 2 has a double bed.
Bedroom 3 has a queen bed.

The open living/dining space has a comfortable sectional sofa and dining table that seats 6. Additional seating is available at the kitchen peninsula, and a cafe table in the kitchen.

For indoor entertainment, options include a smart TV, a record player, records, books, puzzles, and board games.

The sun room overlooks an expanse of White Oak Point’s pristine woods. This room has a daybed where a guest can sleep or enjoy an afternoon nap. A bumper pool table converts into a poker table—perfect for an evening game of cards!

The full kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, Keurig, and a drip coffee maker. Guests will find a large assortment of cookware and utensils for times when cooking and eating in is preferred.

A second full bathroom is located between the living area and the bedrooms.

The covered outdoor seating area is a private place to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Guests may arrange to visit a pollinator garden behind the main house on the farm. There are great photo opportunities in the garden with vintage farm vehicles.

Guests have full access to the house except for the basement and garage.

The stay at this property is my second. The house is located on a farm in Goshen, Ky and thus is quite peaceful. It is a 40 minute drive to Louisville. The house is very clean and inviting. It has a wonderful sleepmaster bed in the master bedroom and an overhead fan to keep it cool. The kitchen is well equipped and the host provides some snacks and lots of coffee choices. The main living room is spacious and inviting. The front porch offers a place to relax and listen to the sounds of nature. The host is accommodating abd responsive and quite nice. The house accepts pets, though I didn’t have one. I can’t wait to return.

We loved our stay here! It was a beautiful house and property, and super convenient for us as we had come to compete at a horse show just down the road. Catherine was very communicative the whole time, and the house had lots of small thoughtful details and touches for both the humans (full multi-option coffee bar!) and my dog (biscuits set out for him!). We would absolutely stay again.
