About this house rental
This home is just a 15 minute drive to the Taos Ski Valley and to the historic Town of Taos. Enjoy the stary evening sky's while soaking in the private hot tub. The town of Arroyo Seco is just a mile down the road with restaurants and shops.
Vista del Salto is a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath home on the highly desired Los Altos RD in Arroyo Seco New Mexico. It is just steps away from the indoor Club House heated swimming pool which is next to the tennis/basketball court.
Entering the front court yard there is a sitting area with Adirondack chairs and a chiminea where you can enjoy the mountain views. The chiminea will keep you warm on the cooler winter evenings.
The front door opens to an expansive area containing the living room, the kitchen, and the dining area; Mexican tiles cover the substantial room, as well as the rest of the house. Radiant heating warms the house in the winter. Enjoy the sunrises and sunsets while warming be the 2 kiva fireplaces in winter, spring or summer. There are 2 additional kiva fireplaces in 2 of the bedrooms.
The premier master bedroom is quite large with an adjoining bathroom and a large walk-in closet. French doors open to the west and to the hot tub which is a beautiful area from which the sunset and stars call.
A covered patio off the living room graces an area with a sunset view and Golden Aspens in October. It also houses a large table that seats six to eight people.
The kitchen has recently been remodeled and is an efficient workspace with no wall separation from the rest of the living area. The attached garage is a perfect place for skiers & snow lovers to drop off equipment and enter the house through the laundry room.

Unexpectedly had to open my own You Tube TV account after using owner account two weeks due to "Verify Location" issue; disruptive and time consuming. Never happened before. Never had to open my own account.

The house location was great and the caretaker was very responsive. I would not recommend this particular property due to its age. I would recommend the rental company. Overall the owner of this house needs to spend a small amount of money to freshen up the house. The oven/stove was very old and the oven was hard to control the temp. The dishwasher was also showing age and was difficult to open and it was very loud when running. The towels are extremely old very scratchy - need new frontgate towels. The Fridge was full of old condiments and an opened bottle of wine - we thought that was not hygienic. The beds and linens were also very old. The cooking utensils were very cheap and unorganized. For the amount of money we paid I just think that the owner should invest a little bit more into the property. It was a very clean house upon arrival.

We really enjoyed our stay! This home is beautiful & comfortable! Great location in Arroyo Seco for skiing in Taos (15 min drive) and close to great restaurants!
