Casa Illuminada - panoramic views, clubhouse with indoor pool, tennis court

We had two families and had a wonderful week. Property was ready early and very clean. Property manager was easy to reach for checkin instrustions and all was as expected. Kids got to swim in the club pool and play basketball during our off times from skiing. Its a perfect distance between Taos and Taos Ski Valley. The house layout had plenty of room and was great for our families. The hot tub under the NM stars was incredible. We would definitley stay again.

Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need. Back yard views were beautiful! Hot tub was amazing. The subdivision was quiet and perfect for nice walks. The house is in an ideal location, and nothing beats the gorgeous El Salto mountain right outside the window. Nice, quiet street, and spacious and lovely house. The property manager does a great job in preparing a clean and ready house, and the house is well appointed. However, the appliances are older and often don't work properly--dishwasher leaves grit on everything, washing machine stops mid-cycle and has to have the lid weighted to keep working. These kinds of things detract from the overall experience, as do loose tiles on the floors and peeling stucco out back. For the price, these types of things should be repaired and this type of updating is essential. It's a gorgeous spot and overall a comfortable house, but its due for some TLC.
