Seaside Serenity on Marine

The apartment is spacious and very well laid out. The views and balcony were superb. The furnishings were lovely and updated.

The place is really grubby, when we arrived the first thing I noticed was the oil on the backsplash in the kitchen, crumbs on the kitchen bench, hair in the cutlery drawer. The bed linen was stained, old manky doonas covered with double sheeting. The 2nd toilet was broken, spa didn’t work, no broom or anything to keep the place tidy. The dishwasher’s powder dispenser was broken, subsequently it didn’t wash properly. The parking is extremely tight so we had to park our brand new small car on the street. Lots of stairs to carry up luggage and shopping. The cleanliness was a real deal breaker, had I not paid up front, I wouldn’t have stayed there. The bed linen was the most concern. The supplied items like dishwasher tablets, shampoo, body wash etc were empty.
