JI Hotel Shanghai Pudong Airport East Station Free shuttle bus

The room was great. Tidy and comfortable. Overall good value for money

Communication was hard as no one at reception spoke English. Also the payment was very confusing as we thought that the room was prepaid through Booking.com but it turned out that was a deposit that would be given back to us after we checked out. And hotel wanted the payment on the spot and would not take my cards that i had on me. So we had to pay cash as i didn't have the right cards. And shuttle from the airport was hard to find, so we were late to catch it and had to wait another hour to get the next one.

Great location near the airport. Clean. Welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast. Tremendous value. It’s got iron board and washing machine room and a couple of running machines. Excellent free airport bus. I also stayed in the Ji hotel in Wuxi. Also very good.

There’s nothing I did not like. It’s what it says on the tin. Heads up though. There are a few Ji hotels. So go to the correct one. This hotel is mostly non English speaking. Thats natural as it’s in China. So be ready with a translation App. No restaurant but cafes and shops within walking distance.
