Excellent apartment, very well equipped in a quiet location. A 10 minute walk from the centre of Tavira.

A fabulous, carefully designed villa with high end and thoughtful amenties. Excellent value for 3 couples sharing. Tavira town was a short walk away with gorgeous bars and restaurants. Excellent communication from the hosts. Take the boat from the harbour to Tavira Island for a beautiful day at the beach

The response from the agents Smartvillas to the fact the large oven wasn't working on Xmas Day. I spoke to a representative of Smartvilla to try and resolve the problem but he couldn't help till next day. We had flown our family from the UK to spend Xmas together, had purchased all the food to cook but had no facility to do so. At the end of the stay I left it to the agents to make a fair offer of compensation for our ruined Xmas and they suggested 10% off future bookings with them. Why I would chose to return after this disaster. I said that a deduction on what had already been paid was more suitable but they finally claimed that the oven didn't work due to 'user error'. This is a nonsense. It either works or doesn't. It didn't! Left with no alternative (restaurants all full or closed) we went without. I don't blame the owners but I do have issues with how Smartvillas have dealt with resolving this and have instead chosen to end up with an unhappy customer.
