Very clean and well equipped

All in all, I have nothing but good things to say. Communication went smoothly, and the flat is very clean and newly fitted out. I was provided with various groceries and little extras. The bathroom is perfectly adequate, and the shower (drain, water pressure, temperature) works perfectly. I spent a week there on my own. This flat is also well suited for two guests. It’s a short walk to the centre, but in return you have your peace and quiet. I was able to reach everything on foot during my stay. The supermarket and pharmacy are just around the corner.

Do not think twice. Book this place for your own sake. This is the first place where there is nothing to improve. If there were a standard for short-term rentals, every property should be measured against Homy. The apartment itself is a real gem: spotless, fresh-smelling, beautifully designed and, more importantly, useful. The kitchen is fully equipped, from pots and pans to olive oil. The bedroom sits at the back of the building, which means that even though you are steps away from the Acropolis, you sleep as if you are in the countryside. The bed is supremely comfortable, the closet offers generous hanging space, and storage throughout is plentiful. The location is simply strategic. The main attractions of Athens are walkable, yet the bus stop, metro and tram are close. Practical features are all there: a washing machine with a dryer (liquid detergent included), quality toiletries (shampoo, shower gel and body cream), a first-aid kit (which I personally used for a cold), from Q-tips to a smart TV with Netflix. Now, let me tell you what truly set this experience apart. We arrived on Orthodox Easter Sunday, and everything in the city was closed, and Monday was equally shut. We had a pre-booked tour to Meteora departing before 7 AM on Monday. With no shops open and no breakfast officially offered, I contacted the host simply asking if they could purchase a few basics and some water, and I offered to pay for everything. What we found upon arrival surprised us: bottles of water (which we took on our trip), from freshly baked bread to ham and cheese, a breakfast table so generous we ate well for the entire week. When I insisted on reimbursing the host, he refused. He said this is simply how they treat their guests. That generosity, quiet, unhurried and entirely unexpected, is what separates a good host from an exceptional one. The communication throughout was fast, professional and warm. Returning to Greece, I will book nowhere else.

If I must find something to mention, and only in the spirit of full transparency, it would be the exterior of the building and its surroundings. The old building itself carries character and potential, and there is a charming little park in the backyard that, with some attention, could be genuinely lovely. The pavement outside also has some neglected plants that have not seen care in quite some time. However, and this must be stated clearly, none of this falls within the host's control. He manages the apartment, not the municipality or the building's common areas. What is within his control, he has executed flawlessly. The inside is impeccable in every sense. He earns his ten out of ten without reservation.

Es war hervorragend. Super neu, perfekte Ausstattung, geschmackvoll. Kaffee, Tee, Milch, Toast, Marmelade, etc waren in der Küche vorhanden. Sehr angenehmes Ambiente.
