Harbury Lodge

There was breakfast facilities in the kitchen with cereal you could have. Location was great for walking to Braehead Arena and Shopping centre. Go the woodland walk way and it takes you directly there. Pictures on the walls were nice. We were lucky to have decent people sharing the property.

Where do I start...Not the cleanest of houses. Could definitely do with a face-lift inside and out. If I owned this property I would be making it a lot more appealing to customers rather than leaving it as a run down cash cow. The back garden is over run with weeds so you couldn't sit and enjoy it. It looks very unwelcoming at the front as well. You go into the house and there's an odd smell. The rooms equally have a smell of stale urine in the carpets. They need washed or replaced. Walls were stained with food, alcohol and probably other undesirable things. The bathroom, other than toileting purposes is unusable. I very rarely complain about a property I stay in, but this was entirely inadequate. I looked to see if I could get somewhere else close to where I was needing to go at short notice, but was not able to. You definitely get what you pay for here.

The aparyment was good. Kettle broke but another one in communal kitchen.

Not much. Loation a bit off the beaten track without a car.

Comfy room with acess to shared kitchen and dining/sitting area.

Good value for money

Guest in the other room was smoking weed in their room, and causing annoyance as he was shouting a lot from being high. As a result house stunk of smoke, and I was frightened the other guest would do something to me as I asked him to shut up as he was being too loud. Feedback would be, someone needs to come in everyday to check the property, install smoke detectors in the rooms, put cameras in the communal areas and ask guests if there’s any anti social behaviour going on. So because of this bad experience I wouldn’t stay again.
