Balinese Homestay

We loved staying at Balinese Home stay. Ketut was an excellent host and has a lovely private self contained Balinese villa with a pool which helped my kids really enjoy our stay.. The entire complex has a number of residences where Ketuts extended family live and so it has a real local family mood. Just like home! Try dining at the onsite Balinese Home cooking restaurant for delicious traditional Balinese food. Breakfast is available across the street at the local Dude cafe. What else can I say?.. 'Bali Bagus'

The Villa kitchen could be improved. I couldn't use the stove oven and a few more appliances. i.e a toaster, blender and serving utensils.would be great. But we had what we needed.

Établissement parfait !! Je recommande à 1000 %. Le personnel est tout simplement adorable et vraiment au petit soin. On avait besoin d’un bateau pour Gili il nous en a trouvé un pour vraiment pas cher! Il a été récupérer mes vêtements à la laundry ce n’est pas la seule chose qu’il a fait pour nous! Franchement, ce sont des amour ! Je recommande vivement cet établissement qui est tout simplement magnifique avec un personnel simplement parfait ! Le restaurant également est pas cher, du tout est vraiment délicieux ! Tout est propre, tout est soigné, tout est super, c’est 10/10. Franchement rien à redire, c’est tout bonnement parfait.

Tout était parfait ! On s’y sent comme à la maison.

Ok. I don't know how to start this...it's difficult to write without tears, as this was no simple accomodation...it was a new family and a lifelong memory that we've mad in Bali. This Balinese house blends the traditional housing style with modern yet modest, facilities. It's a place where you feel at home wherever you come from...it's nested within the houses of the owners and the families that have worked there to make this a lifestyle. Wayan, his father and uncle were always there and very nice to us. The family restaurant located within the property has amazing and very affordable food...the girls working there are also very nice and there are even massage options for the people who have time. This was not just a stay or trip, it was an experience itself. We've also embraced nature, and it embraced us (fireflies coming towards you like a greet from nature itself) Leaving this place, Ubud, Bali and Indonesia itself, but especially our friends at the Balinese Homestay was probably the hardest thing we had to do since we've started to ever travel, and it's been a while. Świetny hotel z wyjątkowym klimatem Bardzo ładne, przestronne pokoje, czysto i komfortowo. Dużym plusem jest prywatny basen otoczony zielenią – idealny do relaksu i dla dzieci. Teren zadbany, spokojny, prawdziwa balijska atmosfera. Masaż na miejscu jest rewelacyjny – bardzo profesjonalny i naprawdę niedrogi, jeden z lepszych, jakie mieliśmy na Bali. Ogromny plus! Restauracja hotelowa jest świetna – smaczne jedzenie, duży wybór, dobre ceny. Dodatkowo tuż naprzeciwko znajduje się bardzo dobry bar śniadaniowy, idealny na szybkie i pyszne śniadania. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje właściciel – bardzo miły, pomocny i zaangażowany, zawsze chętny do pomocy i dbający o gości. Zdecydowanie polecam to miejsce osobom szukającym spokoju, komfortu i dobrej jakości w rozsądnej cenie.

Niestety pobyt miał też swoje słabsze strony. Czystość wymaga poprawy – narzuty na łóżkach i poduszki powinny zostać wymienione lub dokładnie wyprane. Zasłony oraz moskitiery również były zabrudzone. W łazience przydałoby się usunięcie zielonego nalotu z płytek, który pojawia się przez wilgoć. Prywatność jest ograniczona – wokół znajdują się inne budynki i z wyższych pięter basen oraz ogród są dobrze widoczne, co może przeszkadzać osobom szukającym pełnej intymności. Dodatkowo właściciel wieczorami przechodził przez teren obiektu, aby wyłączać oświetlenie, przez co można było natknąć się na niego niespodziewanie, co również wpływało na poczucie prywatności.
