Our 3-day stay at this Tromsø gem surpassed all expectations! Nestled in a serene residential neighborhood, this haven offers the perfect balance between peaceful retreat and local immersion. The convenient bus stop right outside connects effortlessly to downtown vibrancy and coastal park tranquility - ideal for families seeking authentic Norwegian living. The spacious apartment impressed us with its freshly renovated hardwood floors gleaming under Arctic light, maintained in impeccable condition. Thoughtful host Christina elevated our experience through: - Crystal-clear digital guidebook with 24/7 support - Premium toiletries rivaling boutique hotels - Fully-stocked kitchen featuring Nordic spices & artisan coffee - Personalized local recommendations beyond tourist hotspots Architectural poetry unfolded through every window - nature's daily canvas painting: ☀️ Dawn: Watercolor skies transitioning from magenta to peach 🌌 Dusk: Cobalt twilight embracing golden-lit wooden cabins ✨ Midnight: Celestial emerald ribbons dancing above our private balcony The pinnacle arrived during our second night - an electrifying aurora coronation that transformed our balcony into nature's grand theater. Those shimmering veils of jade and violet etching themselves into our memories forever. More than accommodation, this is where Scandinavian hospitality meets Arctic wonder. Already planning our return to this magical hideaway! **Rating:** ★★★★★ (6/5 if possible!) **Perfect for:** Aurora chasers · Culture explorers · Design-sensitive travelers · Family memory makers

A faint scent from the fresh paint lingers on the floors, which is to be expected with recent renovations.

I loved Christian and Hanne's house. It's perfect, comfortable, and very cozy. Its location is unbeatable because it's in a very quiet neighborhood but just steps away from the city center. The kitchen is perfectly equipped; we were able to cook every day as if we were at home. Christian helped us find great tours and provided general information about Tromsø.
