A very nice apartment close to the city centre and only about a 10‑minute walk from the train station. This is ideal because Arezzo sits on the Florence–Rome rail line, making it a perfect base for day trips. We visited Florence, Rome, Cortona, Perugia, and Orvieto, taking the early trains out and returning late in the evening. The host is very friendly and communication was excellent.
A small note for light sleepers: you may want to avoid staying here during Giostra week in June or September, as the celebrations can be noisy. At any other time, Arezzo is a wonderful, not overly touristy Tuscan town.

Filippo is an excellent and helpful host; he kept checking in to make sure everything was okay. He recommended some great restaurants, which is always appreciated. The apartment is just a two-minute walk from all the major attractions; it’s well-equipped, clean, quiet, and safe. The apartment is two stories, so for those who might have trouble with stairs, this might not be the best choice. Mille grazie, Filippo!
