Super Condo 1 en Vidanta

Nice size living area. Pool is fabulous. Large and comfortable loungers and chairs. Water temp perfect. Good water pressure for shower and instant hot water. Good internet. Host was very prompt in responding. Kitchen well stocked for dishes, glasses and cutlery.

This is a first floor condo which is fine, but there isn't any view. Guest bathroom very small for toilet and shower area. Main bathroom shower door hard to slide.

Fantastic location. Short walking distance to shops, restaurants, the beach and marina and convenience stores. Short drive to the amazing Vidanta resort. Our concierge drivers were super friendly and knowledgeable. We loved chatting them up, our rides with them very entertaining.

The master bath needs updating. The bottom underneath the tub feels hollow in some spots which was concerning, the faucet makes a high pitch sound while running water and the shower/tub doors do not open or close properly. After the first shower in there we ended up taking the rest of our showers in the second/guest bathroom, which works perfectly.

Balancan staff is amazing and helpful. The unit is located on the first level of the property. There is an elevator if you're on an upper level. The unit offers washer/dryer & nicely equipped kitchen.

this property is not EN Vidanta.... as the listing Header indicates... to me EN means, in or on... it's not until you get the checkin directions from the Host that you have any clue it is not. The arrival instructions say the bldg is 12 minutes from the Vidanta entrance... to myself, I thought... WOW, Vidanta is HUGE.... what it DOES NOT say, is it's NOT on the Vidanta property, but well outside the gate entrance of Vidanta. Furthermore, his arrival instructions then let you know there are add'l fees to access the Vidanta amenties. Hmm... you are mislead into thinking wristbands are mandatory for your Balancan stay. They are not. For a short stay like ours, we didn't need to purchase the bands. Once you realize you are not on Vidanta property, you realize you pay taxi to go out, in, out in... unless you pay more $ to the Host ($1,300 mx pesos) for (Recommended) direct access... this means you get a golf cart ride to Vidanta with limited hours of service.

We had a great experience at this condo. Memo the host was extremely nice at all times, and he made sure we had a pleasant stay. Location es great, and it gives you full access to the Vidanta Resort. Most importantly, Memo was available at all times for any questions.
