Villa Anna Splendid Sunset Ocean Front

Beautiful house, gorgeous pool and sea view. Great location close to Mosteiros and Sete Cidades. Super nice hosts Anna and Alexey. Best breakfast ever.

Villa Anna is one of the BEST places that I’ve ever stayed and that’s why I gave it a score of 10 - exceptional! Our hosts, Alex and Anna, greeted us upon arrival. They gave us the keys to the villa and a guided tour of all the features and amenities. It was clear that a lot of care and thought went into designing and building Villa Anna. It looks like it has been staged for a photo shoot in a glamorous magazine. Designer touches abound! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly want. Anna and Alex provided a basket on the dining room table with wine, various local breads, and pastries. The refrigerator had been carefully stocked with breakfast items such as eggs, milk, cheese, and yogurt. Anna highly recommended the milk. It was made fresh on the island and had cream floating at the top. I haven’t seen cream in milk in years. It was delicious! This recommendation and the many others recommendations made by Alex and Anna were very helpful. They quickly responded to any questions that I had and were completely unobtrusive, but always available. The bedrooms, each with their own distinctive style and theme, feature luxurious fabrics of silk and linen. The beds were super comfortable with easy access to lamp switches and charging ports. The bathrooms were like visiting a spa. They featured custom tile, real plants such as orchid and fern, heated towel racks, and Murano glass chandelier and sink. One of the best features of Villa Anna is outside. There is nearly a 180 degree view westward towards the ocean. The sunsets were absolutely amazing! The villa is in a rural location surrounded by corn fields with sugar cane borders. It’s a quiet, peaceful retreat. At night, there was very little light pollution. We were able to lay on the patio lounge chairs, listen to the sea, and watch the Milky Way Galaxy drift by. We lost count of the number of satellites that we saw.

I can offer zero negative comments - Villa Anna is an exceptional place to stay.

Die perfekte Lage und wunderbare Wohlfühlatmosphäre im Haus und auch ein wunderbarer Aussenbereich mit herrlichem Meerblick und eigenem kleinem Pool. Die medientechnische Ausstattung ist perfekt! Außerdem gibt es einen Fitnessraum mit Sauna. Es sind 2 Typen von Kaffeemaschinen: Nespresso-Kapseln und klassisch mit Filter vorhanden; außerdem natürlich Wasserkocher, Toaster und dem restlichen Küchenstandardzubehör. Außerdem ein Weinkühlschrank mit exklusivem Inhalt (kostenpflichtig). Wir haben unseren Urlaub dort sehr genossen und wäre die Insel nicht so wunderschön so hätten wir uns nicht wegbewegt.

Es gab nichts was gestört oder gefehlt hat, vielleicht wäre noch ein Sonnenschirm ganz gut.

From the very first glance off the terrace, we were left breathless – the ocean stretches endlessly before you, and every evening it transforms into a living canvas of the most magnificent sunsets one could ever imagine. Mornings began with gentle yoga on the terrace, with nothing but the sound of waves and the feeling of a new day being born with fresh energy. A swim in the saltwater pool felt like bathing in the sea itself, yet in complete privacy and comfort. Each day we looked forward to Anna’s breakfast – not just a meal, but an experience prepared with love, setting the tone for the entire day. Alex became our invaluable guide – his tips and advice led us to places and moments we would never have discovered on our own. And then came the evenings… moments when we sank into a lounge chair and simply gazed at the stars as they lit up over the ocean. It was a time of pure peace, harmony, and connection with this magical place. Villa Anna is not just accommodation – it is an experience that etches itself deep into your heart. And it is one of the very few places where we can honestly say: we will most certainly return.

The only downside was not being able to stay longer. This place truly deserves it!
