Dhow Beach Boutique Hotel

The location was amazing, and the staff were very friendly and caring. The owner was always present and paid great attention to detail, especially when helping me with my tours. The food was also great, the room was extremely clean and comfortable, and the view from the deck was breathtaking. I highly recommend this place if you’d like to get away from the big resorts while still enjoying great quality and a more exclusive experience.

The property was lovely, in nice location on Nungwi beach - the quiet end of the beach!! The furniture in the rooms is all made from recycled boat material - making it a lovely environment to stay in. Without exception all the staff at the hotel were really lovely, friendly and very helpful. The owner was very welcoming and made us feel like very valued guests

The quality of the food was our only very minor issue. It was okay but not wonderful - we chose to eat out at other places along the beach most evenings. Breakfast was included and it was very generous - plenty of fresh fruit to start breakfast. Then followed an eclectic mix of things on a plate - some form of eggs with a mixture of strange accompaniments!! Made breakfast exciting!!

It was a great location and the staff were very friendly.

It was not the properties fault but the construction next door was extremely noisy. The restaurant was a bit disappointing for the price and what you got. The options are very limited and service was very slow, taking over 40 mins to get our order which we then cancelled and went back to our room, they then brought our meal and we were charged full price.
