We were kept informed by the host and even checked on us a couple times to make sure everything was good. This property worked out so well for us with two bedrooms for two couples and having the kitchen and living room to stretch out in. It was so much better then hotel rooms. For us the location was great with family only a couple minutes away. We will definitely check on availability when visiting again.

We just completed a four-night stay at this property. It was actually our second time there and this time was every bit as comfortable and pleasant as our first time in 2025. The owner is doing a really terrific job of maintaining this house. It is clean, quiet, everything is in working order...we could not have asked for more. I fully expect we'll rent here again on our next visit to Owensboro. Anyone else looking for a comfortable, affordable place in Owensboro, look no further than the Village Cottage.Thanks for everything, Whitney! M & S from Iowa
