About this cottage rental
An island jewel on the North Shore of Oahu, this cottage is situated right on the water in a quiet, serene, and peaceful setting. Surrounded by palms and gentle trade winds, the cottage is located in a gated, old-style Hawaiian setting, offering all of the amenities you’ve come to expect plus more, including a tennis court, pickleball court, basketball hoop, and an outdoor pool. Our cottage also includes a washer and dryer (soap provided) and an outdoor shower. There is 1 free parking spot available that is reserved for you when you book. Maximum occupancy for this unit is 4 people. This is a rule from the HOA and they are extremely strict and will turn you away if there are more than 4 guests.
Numerous activities await you just minutes away, including surfing, snorkeling, horseback riding, polo, beach strolling, pickleball, tennis, basketball, swimming pool and hiking, among others. And for those more adventurous souls, there's even sky diving available within minutes. But remember to be safe and always check with lifeguards before entering the ocean, as there are large waves and strong currents during the October-to-May North Shore surf season. When in doubt, don't go out!
The cottage is surrounded by majestic mountains to the south, and unobstructed, 180 degree views of the ocean to the north, where you can often see Humpback whales breaching in the distance. And world famous Ka'ena Point, with its resident colony of endangered Hawaiian Monk seals and migratory birds, is only a short distance away. The cottage is just a 10 minute drive from the town of Haleiwa, with its world famous dining and shopping, and includes convenient grocery stores, post office and more.

We gifted the unit to my in-laws for their 40th anniversary. They absolutely loved their experience. The unit was clean, well appointed, comfortable, and so quiet. They loved the ocean breeze….the stars at night were stunning. The water was crystal clear. And they said three sea turtles and a monk seal swam by as they sat in their chairs above the water. Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience for them!

We loved our stay at this house. Karson got back to me right away when we needed to change our rental dates. Check-in was super easy. The house and kitchen were stocked with everything we needed and more. My kids loved being able to swim and snorkel right out front. My son swam with a turtle and that made his trip. Shopping and other beaches are a short drive away. We made sure to hit up Sunset beach and Ted’s Bakery. But every night the kids wanted to hang at the condo. We enjoyed amazing sunsets from the porch. Our stay there was absolutely perfect.

From the moment we greeted the ocean at the beginning of our stay to the moment we bid goodbye to the Wai'anae Mountains at the end of our stay, my husband and I experienced the most enchanting getaway of our lives. The location was absolutely beautiful; we saw sea turtles and sea cucumbers and crabs hanging on the sea wall. The sunrises and the sunsets were magnificent. We met some of the nicest people in this quiet getaway. The town of Hale'iwa was close by, with its multifarious coffee shops and restaurants, shops, and a general store with the best chocolate ice cream! The cottage itself was pristine clean; the layout was perfect for us, with the king-sized bed having an unimpeded view of the ocean, a lovely sitting area, a well-stocked kitchen, and the pièce de resistance: the large screened-in porch, from which we could watch the ocean and the sky all day long. It was very difficult to leave this little piece of paradise.
