Infinity Haven by Fidalsa

Fantastic location. Really lovely size property. Clean. Comfortable. Everything there we needed. Good WiFi. Great pool and garden area. Good parking.

For the higher price level property perhaps in need of some updating. Also only 3 sun loungers for a property that sleeps 6. We did request but they were not able to provide.

The booking procedure was straightforward even with the new registration rules for Spain. The location is quiet and very relaxing, the house was spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable, the aircon worked great and was definitely needed a few times. The pool was clean with a shallow end / deep end to suit all abilities, it was very welcome on the hottest days of our stay. There are two pools pictured although the villa only has the one pool which is enough for a small group.

The kitchen is a bit tired, a few of the hinges were loose on some of the units, the hob has a sharp edge were the glass has been chipped at some point. There is plenty of cutlery but no corkscrew for opening the wine!! The fridge / freezer works ok although the controller had a annoying temperature alarm beep that kept repeating itself even though it was cold enough The lock for the sliding metal gate on conservatory door could not be opened with any of the supplied keys. The BBQ is rusty and not useable. Overall it just needs a little bit of TLC and the place would be perfect.

Only one tea towel and surprisingly, no plastic glasses for use in the pool area.

The property had a well equipped kitchen and was a good size.

We were really disappointed with our stay. The villa has the potential to be beautiful, but unfortunately it felt tired and dated, which isn’t reflected in the photos. There were several issues during our stay. The bathroom door and the gate to the outside terrace did not lock, which was particularly concerning from a security perspective. The fridge also randomly made a loud beeping noise throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. The beds were uncomfortable, and the outdoor loungers had no cushions, making them uncomfortable to use as well. However, the most disappointing aspect of our stay was the pool. We reported that the pool had become cloudy and green, and someone came to inspect it. Unfortunately, nothing appeared to be done, and by the following morning it was twice as bad. I contacted you again early that morning and was told that someone would come to look at it. As the pool was completely unusable, we left the property for the day to give them time to resolve the issue. However, when we returned, nobody had been. I then spent around an hour trying to contact someone and explained that we were only staying for five nights and had already been unable to use the pool for two of those days. I was subsequently told that, because we had not been able to use the pool and were due to leave the following day, we could have a later check-out so that we could hopefully enjoy it before leaving. Unfortunately, the following morning the pool was still cloudy and had a strange green colour. I did not feel comfortable allowing our children to use it, so the promised solution ultimately didn’t resolve the problem. I also reported the broken terrace gate lock as a security issue. Although this was acknowledged, nobody came to inspect or repair it during our stay. We paid considerably more for this villa specifically because it had a private pool.
