It was a little cold

Recently decorated. Brilluant location. Very charactful. Lovely and warm.

Took 5 mins finding it in the dark. Could have said location was on the corner next to Picnic Fayre for greater ease.

We liked the fact that the garden is completely dog proof. The lounge and dining areas are excellent, as are the bedrooms. The kitchen is small, but is well equipped with pots pans, crockery and cutlery, making it possible to cook Christmas dinner. There is a good selection of books for those who like to relax with a book.

We had difficulty getting hot water through the shower. We contacted the owner regarding this matter but my daughter did not manage to get it working. We settled for baths instead. We had a problem with the rubbish bins. When we arrived, the two outside wheelie bins were completely full. It was impossible to get rid of our own rubbish, so we had to leave it in the kitchen, along with a note explaining the situation to the cleaner.

The location is excellent, there is a lovely deli/baker next door so you can very easily gather provisions. Bed linen was exceptional and I was very pleased to find a cafetière for coffee not one of those annoying Nespresso machines. Lovely garden to the back.

The bath was pretty small and the shower not so hot.
