About this cottage rental
Enjoy leisurely walks along the river towards the coast, or perhaps join one of the seal-spotting boat trips from the village quay which head west to the nearby National Trust nature reserve. The village itself is well-appointed and offers an array of shops including a tempting deli offering a wide choice of fine foods and wine. To the west of village, some 9 miles away, the attractive town of Wells-next-the-Sea is a popular destination for holidaymakers, boasting a picturesque harbour as well as a beautiful sandy beach backed by a string of colourful beach huts.
Once a part of the village bakery, this cottage is a homely property ideal for a couple or a small family. The first room that guests come to on arrival is the kitchen/diner where guests will find a dining table seating four as well as an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, and dishwasher. This room opens to the spacious lounge with its warming wood burner, comfortable seating, and Smart TV/DVD. Cottage style stairs lead to the first floor where there are two cosy bedrooms: a restful double room and a peaceful single room which has a rocking chair in the window, allowing guests to relax with a book, or perhaps giving parents a comfortable spot to sit and read a bedtime story. The shower room can also be found on the first floor and offers a shower and WC
To the rear of the property guests will find a shingled courtyard with a picnic table and bench, providing guests with a tranquil space to enjoy al fresco drinks or dining. There is also parking available.
