Serena Calm Pool House

The apartment was cozy & clean and looked exactly like in pictures. Me and my son had peaceful and lovely vacation here. Athens attractions are only 30 mins drive away, while you can combain it in relaxing small town pace. The management team was very helpful and solved all our questions / requests promptly and efectively.

For us this was not an issue, since we appreciate the peace and quiet, but people thinking of booking this location should be aware that altough you don’t need a car in here, it is abt 20 mins walk to the nearest restaurants and grocery stores. In a hot summer day it might feel quite long. The pool was not accessed straight from the apartment, but was located behind the building (regarding the apartment set-up) and required few steps on the stairway. It was anyway easily accessed and private. Anyhow, we enjoyed it very much.

Perfect location for us, we don’t like being in the hustle and bustle.

Would be great to have a little instruction book, that has info on turning the hot water on etc. and a guest book? Would have been nice to see what other people thought of their stay and if they had suggestions for places to eat or to go.

Locatie erg goed. Met een wandeling van 20 minuten ben je in het centrum en bij het strand. Groot appartement. Slaapplek was goed en ruim. We hadden onze baby mee, dus daar was een babybedje voor geregeld. Het zwembad was fijn. Je kijkt vanuit de mooie keuken het zwembad in, dat is leuk. Aardig personeel. Als ik appte, kreeg ik vrijwel direct antwoord/oplossing. Stonden open voor feedback. Aanrader is om naar Lake Vouliagmeni te gaan!! Prachtig.

Toen we het appartement binnen stapte, stonk de woonkamer/keuken onwijs naar rook. Dit is gedurende ons verblijf helaas niet bijgetrokken. Gelukkig kon de deur naar de slaapkamer dicht en rook je daar niks. De douche was koud. Bij navragen moet je een knop omzetten voor warm water (half uur van te voren). Ook is het een stang die je moet vasthouden, dus niet makkelijk haren wassen. Als je de stang vastzet spuit het dus zo de badkamer uit, waardoor het lekt. Het zwembad is privégebruik voor ons verblijf, dat was fijn, alleen kunnen er wel (meerdere) mensen langs je lopen die er boven wonen/verblijven, dus je zit niet helemaal privé. Je deelt namelijk de voordeur met meerdere appartementen. Al deze feedback heb ik ook gedeeld met het management en zij zullen er wat mee gaan (moeten) doen.
