3BR City center Retreat apartment

Ultra central location, nicely refurbished, comfortable apartment, spacious enough for 6 people. Excellent price-value ratio. Responsive hosts. We would definitely choose it again in Chisinau.

The entrance of the block of flats was a bit difficult to find, the address and direction link could be refined. However, the location link was great help.

Location, location, location! Views from every room at some of the prettiest buildings in Chisinau. Couldn't ask to be better located near restaurants, cafe's, transport, shops etc. The bedrooms are spacious, no shortage of storage space, two toilets were convenient, and the apartment is relatively modern. Coffee and tea were provided. The fridge is spacious as is the freezer. There are a few toiletries though I would recommend bringing your own body wash, etc. Hair dryer even had a diffuser which was a welcome touch. There is also a laundry room. The afternoon light is perfect for enjoying a few beers looking at the buildings.

For a three bedroom apartment, one key is simply not enough. Groups of up to 6 people can comfortably sleep in this apartment so it makes no sense as to how they are meant to manage with one single key and fob for the electric gate. There are no bedside lamps meaning at night you are limited to one lamp which is inconvenient for nighttime reading. Plugs are few and far in between and one was even not working. The apartment has scented sticks which were a little overpowering. The toilet paper was on the low side for a three bedroom stay. The beds left much to be desired and the pillows felt cheap. The water temperature in the shower was the wrong way around so if staying here turn all the way to the blue (right) for warm and vice versa for cold. I would still recommend this apartment. These really were minor inconveniences. The entrance is often blocked in the day by delivery trucks for the surrounding shops.

The smell in the whole apartment was very bad, and the access to the apartment was very difficult and we received bad instructions.
