exceptional stay

It's worth every penny. It's good for traveler who wants local experience. The location is great, walking distance to ATM, coffee shop, traditional local market. The room is spacious completed with private kitchen and utensils. The staffs are easy to contact through WhatsApp. And the wifi connection speed is awesome.

Checks all the boxes for function. Not a single negative. Great value can not go wrong.

Great hot shower, strong aircon, terrific kitchen w fridge, hot plate and rice cooker, beautiful clean pool. We paid 3 nites in advance, arrived 1 day late, owner added a free day without our asking. On the street within 100 meters Indomaret, Alfamart with ATM, western coffee shop, Japanese restaurant, Indo restaurant. Owners live on premises. Most rooms away from noisy street.

For being located on a commercial Sanur street, nothing could have been better. It's a find.

A great stay if you’ve got a car but it’s in a non tourist area. You really need a car to access this area of “Sanur.”

It was spacious. It had a big pool which was clean and well maintained. Having a kitchen with electric jug to make coffee/tea was good. Being able to park a car beside your door was rather unique in the Kuta/Sanur region (although I didn’t have a car).

The decor and structure of the facilities were rather dated. It was in a non tourist area but the tariff charged was at rates similar to beachside tourist areas of Sanur beachside.

It was a convenient location for my needs to be close to the airport

I didn’t like that. It didn’t have a mosquito on it. If you are staying there be prepared to take some repellent. If the rooms had a mosquito net it would be ideal.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Friendly greeting on arrival but that’s what it all stops!

Firstly the property is a half way house with permanent tenants you have to walk through all the residents washing lines to get to the actual hotel rooms which are quite dated. The owner thinks he is George Michael and has his own karaoke party by the pool which is an absolute turn off, along with him drinking and smoking by the pool like it’s his own personal space and the Manager he or she not quite sure. Sounds like a man looks like a lady! Who thinks it’s all hilarious which it’s not at all. The property is located in the middle of nowhere and you honestly feel like you will get robbed in the middle of the night if not by the cleaning staff. Even the taxi driver questioned what the hell we were doing staying here! We checked in and checked out within 5 hours. Requested a refund via booking and they responded immediately. Sent a message to discuss a partial refund and all they have done is ignore us. If I can give you any advice. This place is cheap for a reason. DO NOT STAY HERE! there’s no circle k or mart close by and the local Warungs which is your only option for food close by look like you would catch a disease. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

Good motel with great staff and great pool farly close to Sanur beach

Staff was great, so friendly and helpful! Room was big with cooking facilities and a big fridge. Bathroom was fine. Everything was working, bed was firm, good for me. Aircon was great. Very nice pool. Food and mini marts very close by. Overall a positive experience and good value for money.

No bedside lamp. Only "cold" water in sink. Location not great for those on foot.

I hardly write reviews, but to be honest this one I felt like I needed too let people know. Out of all the places I’ve gone to in my life, two places that i felt so unsettling to be there and this place was one of them. I read the reviews and It made me question myself with reviews now and ratings because I don’t know what they’re talking about how it was nice. There was LITERALLY OPENINGS TO THE OUTSIDE FROM THE INSIDE where animals can come in. The first night I woke up with a sound of animal like it was in my room and the next night I thought I saw a rat run across. There was flys and ants in the place and stains on the sheets. I was at three other places on this Bali island and cheaper and they were nicer than this. This place really shocked me of how I was that fooled. The room I was in, was very run down. Nothing like in the pictures.

The host is very kind. He helped us call a taxi through the app and brought me a bucket to wash things. The pool is big and nice. The room is spacious.

The water in the room was light yellow, I don't know if it's like that otherwise. You have to take a taxi to the beach. We walked back one evening, but it is not a good option because of the traffic and it took us a long time.

Ideal for self-cooking, AC, and swimming, but need a SIM card and Gojek (car) - or own transport

I like to be able to cook for myself. I recently got a stent for a blocked artery, and I don't want to take cholesterol statins. So it is important for me to control what I eat: no fried foods, no white-flour products; lots of vegetables and soy instead of red meat. With the electric temperature-adjustable hot plate, an electric cooker (like a rice cooker, but more versatile), and a jug - and a good-sized fridge - I can prepare almost whatever is good for protecting my heart. Plus, Grand Lucky Supermarket is a Gojek ride away, with a huge variety of vegetables: especially big packs of green leafy bok choy and beans. Especially good here is the pool - big enough for doing laps. Not to forget the people: Bong (who speaks English) is on hand to help with everything, and Phin (his brother, who I can speak Indonesian with - having forgotten my previous fluency) gave me a CAR ride (gratis) to Grand Lucky Supermarket, when I asked for a Gojek to be organised. All the other staff are friendly and helpful too.

It is too far to walk to Grand Lucky Supermarket, and downtown Sanur, so it's necessary to get organised with Gojek or Grab. For that, I should get a SIM card, and activate a phone, although I have no other reasons to use a phone. I use my iPad for everything. Bong managed to get the Gojek app on to my iPad. But, to activate that app, I need to have a phone line to receive a code from Gojek! I should have got a SIM card at the airport, where English is spoken, because to get a SIM card locally (not being possible to explain in English), I have a problem. I need to safely remove the SIM card (with my Australian phone number) from the Seniors phone I like to use, to put the local SIM card into that phone. But it's difficult to remove the existing SIM card, without wrecking it.

Very good value for money, a comfortable nights stay before travelling on.

Access to small kitchen area in a spacious apartment. The large pool was clean and the host very attentive.

Heavy rain overwhelms guttering above the bathroom and has caused a bit of mould that needs addressing. Slightly further away from the old Sanur Village that we had thought.

Of value for the money but the WiFi is 👎

Overall this place is of good value for the money. The only downfall is the WiFi, it is outright horrible… almost non existent and as someone who works online I depended on this. Another thing is the mosquitos are alittle crazy at night so if they are generally attracted to you watch out and bring bug spray. The main reason I chose to stay was because of the hospitality of the main staff attendant Bong, he is truly so kind, caring and understanding. He tried everything he could to help with the WiFi situation to make my stay as pleasurable as possible and even said I could get a refund but like I previously mentionedI chose to stay ONLY due to his kindness. Give the man a raise he deserves it. THANK YOU BONG🙏

Bong made the stay absolutely great. He is so welcoming and helpful. We had some lovely chats and he felt like a friend. The pool is great and big so you can do real swimming.

Unfortunately above the room in the ceiling there were many rats living. We woke up at night because of it sometimes. You can also notice that a little bit in the bathroom but we still extended for a total of 6 nights

Verblijf is kleinschalig en persoonlijk . Anga de manager die net nieuw is , stond klaar voor al je vragen en staan voor je klaar . Locatie ligt op 15 min van Sanur Beach met de Grab taxi en 20 m van de luchthaven . Kamer is schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien incl een keuken . Ook kan je er een scooter huren voor de liefhebbers . Voor ontbijt kan je terecht bij 25 pm coffee und walende straat , en voor diner bij steakhouse. Prijs / kwaliteit zeker in verhouding . Als ze zelf ontbijt zouden aanbieden zou het helemaal perfect zijn geweest . Dit is echt authentiek Bali .

Le lit était confortable, la location et la taille de la piscine

Tout était délabré et mal entretenu. Il y avait des cafards dans la salle de bains. Ce n'est pas un hôtel de tourisme mais un logement de travailleur. Beaucoup d'indonésiens vivent à plusieurs dans le même logement. Je ne me suis pas sentie en sécurité dans la rue. Les photos sont bien prises. La réalité est tout autre.
