A modern, 4-star vacation apartment awaits you—a 65 m² unit with an unobstructed view of the Wasserkuppe, located in a quiet area on the outskirts of town. Cycling and hiking trails start right outside the door. A grocery store is just a 3-minute walk away. There are also numerous attractions in the surrounding area: In Hilders, 2 km away, you’ll find the Ulsterwelle outdoor pool, and about 14 km from the accommodation, the Wasserkuppe awaits at an elevation of 950 meters, featuring Hesse’s highest vantage point and a ski and tobogganing area (gliding school, gliding museum, summer toboggan run, climbing forest). In the Bavarian Rhön, 30 km from the accommodation, you’ll find the Klosterkreuzberg with its pilgrimage church, and in the Thuringian Rhön in Oberweid (8 km away), the Noahs Segel tourist lookout point. Furthermore, 11 km away, you’ll find Tann Rhön, featuring a museum village, a castle, and a natural history museum. The Baroque city of Fulda, with its cathedral, is 30 km away, and the thermal baths and spa park in Bad Kissingen are 40 km away.



Ground-floor vacation apartment:

Our 4-star vacation apartment, featuring barrier-free access and a quiet location, offers views of the Wasserkuppe and is situated in the heart of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve—making it the ideal accommodation for hikers, nature lovers, and winter sports enthusiasts. The spacious living room, featuring a dining area and reading nook, along with Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and a stereo system, invites you to relax and unwind. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dining area, dishwasher, microwave, and small freezer, has everything you could need. The apartment has two double bedrooms. A crib can be provided upon request. The spacious, naturally lit bathroom with a toilet and large shower rounds out the overall experience. There is also a separate toilet in the vacation rental. In the storage room, you’ll find a vacuum cleaner, a clothes rack, an ironing board, and an iron. Bed linens and towels are included. A covered patio, garden shed, lawn for sunbathing, lounge chairs, and a barbecue area are located in front of the house. There are numerous biking and hiking trails starting right from the house. A grocery store is just a 2-minute walk away. It’s a 10-minute walk to Hilders.



On-site fees: Payment is made on-site in cash. Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Check-out is available from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Keys will be handed over in person on-site. Pets are not allowed. A crib can be provided upon request (free of charge). The visitor’s tax of 1 € per person per day is payable on site. Final cleaning, parking, Wi-Fi access, as well as bed linens and towels are included in the price.



Check-in is from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00, and check-out is from 08:00 to 10:30.
