Our house is located on the outskirts of Hilders on a quiet street with very little traffic. The house features a peaceful garden with several seating areas. Relax in a beach chair with a good vacation read—which we’re happy to provide, of course—or enjoy a cool drink in the shade of our apple tree. A gas grill and a charcoal grill are available for use. Your children will find plenty of space to play in the yard and garden, and there are two parking spaces available on the property. Bicycles can be stored in the garage, which includes a charging station.
The center of Hilders, restaurants, and shopping are all within a few minutes’ walk. The starting point for the award-winning “Der Hilderser” hiking trail is practically right on our doorstep. A variety of other well-marked biking and hiking trails invite you to explore our beautiful Rhön region. The Wasserkuppe, the “mountain of aviators” (offering gliding, paragliding, model aircraft flying, and other recreational activities), is easily accessible in about 15 minutes by car. During the winter season, an extensive network of cross-country ski trails as well as alpine skiing opportunities in Hilders and the surrounding area are available to you. 



Vacation rental with two balconies:

This spacious and bright vacation apartment (non-smoking) is located on the top floor of our house and offers plenty of space for up to four people in its approximately 80 square meters. Here you’ll find everything you could wish for to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The apartment has two separate bedrooms—one with a double bed (1.60 x 2 m), the other with a French bed (1.40 x 2 m). The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, and sink. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom. A clothes dryer is available free of charge. The kitchen has everything you need, including a stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and electric kettle. Two balconies—one facing southeast, the other southwest—invite you to enjoy the sun from morning to evening while taking in the magnificent view of the surrounding landscape. Entertainment is provided by a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a selection of German- and English-language vacation reading material, and various board games. Guests are also welcome to use the garden, which features several seating areas. For groups of three or more, an additional bathroom with a shower, bathtub, and toilet is available upon request for an extra charge. For a fifth person, the couch can also be used as a sleeper sofa—also upon request and for an extra charge.



On-site fees: Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in a timely manner to arrange this, if necessary. Keys are handed over in person on-site or via a key box. On the day of arrival, a key will be left for you in the key box. We will email you the code for this in advance. Pets are not allowed.



Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 10:00, and check-out is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
