Wonderful and responsive hosts. The cabin was as beautiful as in the pictures. Everything was dialed in and working, no problems whatsoever. You will not regret choosing this cottage or these hosts.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Elkstone. The cabin itself is beautiful - very clean and comfortable for 2 families. We encountered next to no hiccups, but when needed, the owner was very quick to respond to email. The location of the cabin is great - close enough to but far enough from Eagle River. The setting is lovely - very private and serene. We rented a pontoon boat from the Maple View Resort - about a mile away - which guaranteed us access to Pioneer Lake. To get to the lake from the dock of the cabin was a long kayak/canoe trip (about 45 minutes at least - depending on who is doing the paddling!). We really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub! Would highly recommend this property!
