Chrysa Traditional Family House

Wow !! Amazing property, super spacious, immaculately clean, huge terrace with wonderful views and large balconies all around the house with seating! In the middle of olive groves but a 5 min drive from Rethymno town! Perfect location to explore. Great shower and spacious main bathroom with lots of storage space for toiletries. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you might need. Lovely bedrooms , we didn’t use the ac even once in August, the house is always cool and well ventilated with quality mosquito nets on all the windows and patio doors (we ate out on the terrace and never had a problem with mosquitoes). Last but not least our hosts were so welcoming and helpful ! Chrysa traditional family house was absolutely perfect, thanks for everything and see you next time!!

Absolutely nothing!

We really loved the space, very beautiful located outside Rethymno. The hosts are very wonderful people, they welcomed us and helped us whenever we needed. The terrace is wonderful especially for watching the sunrise while drinking coffee and having breakfast. AC in all the rooms, kitchev very well equipped. Really recommend this for families. Can’t wait to come back some day!

Everything was perfect

What wasn’t to like? The hosts are such beautiful people and are very friendly. The house was just beautiful and the balcony view is amazing!! Very clean and taken care of, if we ever come back to Rethymno without a doubt we will stay here again!

A perfect peaceful stay with warm-hearted hosts We had a wonderful stay at Chrysa Traditional House hosted by Thodoris and Rena (4 adults and 2 kids). The location is ideal — just 5 minutes by car to the beach and about 7 minutes to the city center, yet far enough from the noise to fully relax. Surrounded by a beautiful olive tree garden, the house offers clean air, quiet nights, and a true feeling of being close to nature. The house itself was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated — a charming combination of traditional style and modern comfort. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to cozy furnishings, making our stay both easy and comfortable. What truly made our stay special was the hospitality of the hosts. Thodoris and Rena were always available to help and made us feel completely at home. Their warmth and care truly reflect the Cretan spirit of generosity. We highly recommend this property to families or anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to all the privileges of the city. We would gladly return!
