Great property for a large group of girls on a weekend. Sara the host was fantastic with communication. The location was good only a 5 minute drive into the main shopping centre area.

The only issue we had for our stay was the seating in the lounge area, would have loved a bigger lounge to accommodate our group.

A lovely heritage home although a bit tired. Kitchen & bathrooms equipped well. We really appreciated the early check-in. The host was great at communicating and very helpful with the exception of not making it clear about the 5th bedroom not being in the house’. We believed we didn’t need the cottage at an extra cost of $200 ish per night, because it appeared from the photos that there were 3 queen rooms & 2 rooms with single beds allowing 5 out of the six of us privacy while still being in the ‘5’ bedroom house together.

Some didn’t open. No bulbs in bedroom lamps in twin room. Some doors with no latches to hold back in case of wind. No hanging space in 2nd queen room. Not enough veranda chairs (only 2 for upstairs and downstairs verandas). The instructions on how to use the oven were missing from the compendium. My booking confirmation said we had booked a 5 bedroom house but the house had only 4 rooms of sleeping space. The fifth bedroom was in the cottage (not made clear in description) and the cottage is $200 extra ( of which we were made aware - we just didn’t realise that the cottage was the 5th bedroom ).
