Bridge Creek Retreat

It’s so nice to be somewhere that has enough seating for all adult guests. Very well appointed kitchen with all cooking needs catered for. Great entertaining areas - plenty of room at the indoor or outdoor dining table. Comfortable beds. Lovely clean bathrooms. Very spacious and comfortable lounge areas. Lovely fire pit area, with the running creek that is accessible from the property creating a beautiful relaxing soundscape.

It would have been nicer to check in a little earlier - 3pm felt like an unusual check in time.

The property had everything we needed. We cooked meals and the kitchen had good utilities.

The location was handy to Maleny and the size of the home was perfect for us

The house itself was well set out and impressive

The rubbish bins at the front of the house overflowing with rubbish when we arrived did not give a very good first impression of the property. The yard was muddy and untidy. The road into the property was difficult to navigate especially at night. I did not receive any communication from booking.com about the code to enter the property. I had to phone the hosts emergency number while standing near the road in the rain as mobile reception was poor. At 7.45am on our first day there was an unplanned Energex outage that lasted for 5 hours. As everything in the house relied on electricity we had to vacate the property for that duration. No water to flush the toilets or turn on the taps made the house uninhabitable.
