Enjoyed our first stay here so much that we came back again! Big apartment, amazing views and quiet location. Sherif and his family are really helpful with anything that you need and it really feels like home. Thanks again 🙂

What's not to like about this place? To start, the host Sherif couldn't of been more helpful. He gave us advice on the area and recommended places to eat and which market is best to shop at. His replies were always fast. The apartment itself is massive. The shower is nice & powerful. The wifi is fast & strong. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The bedroom we stayed in had the best view of the hot air balloons in the morning. The apartment is within walking distance to everything you will need including the ferry points to cross over to east bank. I definitely recommend staying here. It's such good value for money.

The apartment is modern and very clean. We weren’t expecting it to be so big! It’s across the road from a stables and there’s loads of different animals about the front which we loved. WiFi worked great and the owners spoke perfect English and helped us out a bunch.

We took a gamble with this one as it didn't have any reviews but it certainly paid off. It was brilliant. Where to start! LOCATION: -Quiet location surrounded by friendly locals, horses, camels, sheep and donkeys. It was the first time in Egypt I didn't have to wear ear plugs whilst sleeping! -5 minute walk from the apartment into the small, friendly town along well lit streets. Everywhere felt really safe. -Top floor apartment with AMAZING views of the Valley of the Kings which is lit up at night. 3 separate balconies provide a panoramic view of your peaceful surroundings. APARTMENT -The apartment is brand new so everything is top quality. There is everything you need to completely self cater if you so choose (although there are some amazing restaurants a 5-10 min walk away) -2 bedrooms with big double beds, comfy lounge and bathroom with modern shower (the shower is NOT over the toilet, what a treat). -Washing machine to wash your dusty temple clothes. PEOPLE -The owner, Sherif, was responsive and helpful before we arrived, so the place was easy to find. He is also half British so fluent in English. -He stocked up the kitchen with some basics for our arrival which was a really nice, extra touch. -Sherif and his family own the stables opposite the apartment so someone is always around if you need help. I think we met most of Sherif's family during our stay and they were all really friendly and helpful. -Quite often in Egypt you arrive at a hotel and the owner tries to push tours on you. This didn't happen at all here, we were just left to enjoy our stay and any questions we had were answered honestly and without agenda. There was no hassle. We also went on a horse ride around the local villages with their company Pharoahs Journeys. Really good value and enjoyable. This is the longest review I have ever written but this place deserves it. BOOK IT, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!

The place was so amazing that it has ruined all future accomodation in Eygpt for us, as nowhere else will be as nice 🤣
