Egypt Villa Garden

The accommodation and the host of the house were wonderful. Everything worked great. The host always asked if we needed anything or if there were any problems. There were two of us and one large apartment. We were able to order cleaning for a small fee. The building has a beautiful garden where you can spend time in the evenings. The place is very safe, you can enter the gate and doors with your own keys. The whole area is very peaceful and nearby is, among other things, the City of the Dead. We had a great time for the whole month. We left our hearts in Luxor. We will return to this place in August. Thank you.

The villa is pleasant, with a garden, and the room was quite clean and spacious. The location is perfect, only a few min walk to the downtown. The view from the rooftop was amazing. you can see hot air balloons in the morning. However, there are a few things future guests may want to keep in mind. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes, and at night you could hear them, which disturbed our sleep. Another point is privacy. The host is often present in the garden in the evenings until late at night. He is friendly and sociable, but guests who prefer more private space should be aware of this before booking. There are 2 rooms but only one has an air conditioner. The villa also has a cozy living room and washing machine with drying rack.

The host also offers various services such as taxis and tours. While this may be convenient for some guests, others may prefer to arrange these independently, as the prices were higher compared to local agencies. Although we agreed once to support his business, we later felt pressured when he continued to push other services. One particularly awkward situation occurred when the host found out through a connection with a tour agency that we had already booked a hot air balloon tour independently after we told him we were not interested. This confrontation made us feel uncomfortable. Overall, the stay was okay, and this place could be a good fit for travelers who enjoy interaction with the host and on-site assistance, while those seeking more privacy and independence may want to take these points into consideration.

​Ahmed is a fantastic host. He is truly dedicated and is always worried about the well-being of his guests, making sure we have everything we need. ​The hotel’s location is excellent, as it is very close to the main avenue, providing easy access to everything in the area. ​The staff is always accessible, very kind, and helpful to all guests. We had a lovely time!

The only issue we encountered was with the Wi-Fi. It worked perfectly on the first day, but after that, the connection cut out completely and we weren't sure why.
