Welcome to Southern Roots Estate, a hidden gem in the heart of Savannah's historic district. Just steps from River Street and half a block from Broughton Street, this luxurious estate offers two private parking spaces and a refreshing saltwater plunge pool, making it an unparalleled retreat in one of the city’s most sought-after locations.

Just behind the estate, explore the vibrant shops and restaurants along East Broughton Street. Plus, you’ll be nestled between two of Savannah’s iconic squares, Warren and Washington.
Exceptional Outdoor Space: Relax in the courtyard or take a dip in the saltwater plunge pool. Whether you’re basking in the summer sun or enjoying a cozy fall evening, the outdoor area is designed for ultimate relaxation.
Luxurious Interiors: The home’s interior, designed by a renowned local designer, leaves no detail overlooked. From the elegant living spaces to the plush beds, every corner has been thoughtfully curated to provide a luxurious and comforting experience.
In the main house, you'll find three generously sized bedrooms. The primary bedroom, located on the ground floor, opens to the courtyard through a sliding glass door and features a spa-like ensuite bathroom with a jetted tub, along with its own living area and two walk-in closets. Upstairs, two additional bedrooms each have their own full ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet, both offering king beds for restful nights. There is even a gathering space in the wine cellar for a unique and festive experience.
The carriage house, adjacent but separate from the main home, provides a private escape and you'll find the fourth bedroom here. Perfect for guests seeking privacy or adult children, the carriage house includes a full kitchen, a cozy living room with a queen sleeper sofa, and a bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom.

What is parking like for this home?
Guests will have access to two garage spaces. These spaces can accommodate full-size sedans and small SUVs. All larger vehicles must find on-street parking, which is metered on East Congress Street, but is free on Price Street, which runs parallel to the carriage house.
We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 35 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information.
*Please note that this is a plunge pool and not a hot tub or spa.*
*For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have an external security camera located in the courtyard facing the pool and gate.*

Overall, this was a great trip, and the location was awesome. Very cool house, close to everything, and the carriage house was a bonus. We had several couples, and some preferred a bit more privacy, which the carriage house provided. The property was very well appointed and had a modern, upscale feel. The only bummer: parking is tricky if you have anything other than a mid-size vehicle. Even mid-size was touch-and-go. And a street or a parking garage can be a bit expensive. The pool was in bad shape when we arrived. I left a message, but never heard back from anyone. It was apparent that when we'd return from a day of excursions, someone had attempted to rectify it, but never to the point where we felt comfortable using it. As mentioned, there was no reassurance or follow-up after my call. The last issue was that several electrical outlets in the bathrooms were inoperable. My wife had to use an en-suite of our guests to blow-dry and use curlers. The staff was excellent from booking to check-in assistance, which is why I thought it was weird when I didn't hear back after my last call. With all this being said, none of this was a deal breaker, and we'd be happy to stay in this house again, and use Lucky Savannah for this or other property. We had a great time!
