    No view from the window,, which I didn’t care but someone might be embarrassed because it said that the room provided city view. Excep that the room was cosy and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and staff was kind. Thanks,

    What a beautiful hotel, with incredible staff, who knew us by name. Rooms are perfect, beds incredible, bathrooms new and well maintained. Very small pool on 5th floor was great for a dip to cool off. Location is quiet, restaurants start outside the hotel door. Oh yes they have an excellent breakfast, including made to order items. I just can not express how wonderful and attentive the staff are. Our favourite hotel in four months of travel.

    I booked this brand-new hotel in Hue based on enticing listing photos, expecting a comfortable mid-range stay. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. Instead of a smooth check-in, the manager subjected me to a 30-minute PR speech, even filming me without consent for his marketing. After a long train ride, all I wanted was a hot shower and dinner, not to be part of a promotional stunt. The room was smaller than advertised, with a cramped and poorly designed bathroom. Hot water required a 25-minute preheat but only lasted 3 minutes, completely impractical. Low-quality windows caused pools of water condensation on the sill and floor every day. The AC, positioned above the suitcase rack, leaked onto my suitcase for four days before I noticed. The promised "city view" turned out to be a wall just 50 cm away. Breakfast was mostly processed food, and the vegetarian pho was just instant soup with two zucchini slivers, a disappointing offering in a city known for its rafined cuisine. When I raised concerns, the manager guilt-tripped me, saying a bad review would "get him in trouble." However, he did offer a discount, which I accepted. The only positive was the location, slightly away from the main tourist area for a quieter stay. Even with the discount, the experience wasn’t worth it. There are better hotels in Hue at this price point that offer honest service and well-maintained facilities.
