Top floor of Central Rochester home

It was beautifully appointed, gorgeous bathroom , all very spacious. Comfy bed . Very nice hosts. Cute dog and cats.

The fridge wasn’t working just before I arrived but it was replaced with a drinks fridge. Although I appreciated that they found something for me, I was unhappy about leaving food and milk in there as I found out that drinks fridge’s temperature fluctuates, therefore making it unsafe. I’m sure if I’d have asked I could have used their fridge but it would have been inconvenient for both parties. Unfortunately the food I’d initially put in the drinks fridge had to be thrown away. The towel I was given was so scratchy it would have taken my skin off ! I found a much softer one in the cupboard 🙂. The front door was tricky but was fine once I worked out the knack of it 😉

This is a very spacious and comfortable property with lots of fresh air. It is perfectly positioned for the town centre but quiet. Lovely bathroom. On-street parking was a bonus (but you need to be lucky).

No complaints but this is part of a private house with shared access, and you have to watch your head in places as there are some low beams.

Lovely style and decor. Small but cosy. Gorgeous bathroom with roll top bath. Loved being visited by the family cat!

Nothing really. Some of kitchen stuff (glasses, cutlery) weren’t very clean but we weren’t bothered.
