Modern Room in shared apartment with a Beautiful Private Balcony

The location was excellent and just a short walk to the centre. We got the 24 hour ticket for €12 and used it very well as this ticket does all buses, trams, ferries in zone 1 which is all you'll need to explore the city. The apartment was very secure and safe. The balcony would have been nice to chill on in nice weather. The accommodation was in a busy area with loads of really nice places to eat. Being on the 6th floor meant you didn't have any street noise affecting you. There was a very efficient lift to hand. The use of the washing machine was class and made a huge difference to our travelling. The use of the shower gels and shampoo was a nice touch. There was also a travel adaptor in one of the sockets.

A clothes horse that could be put out on the balcony would be a great touch. While we were very happy with the general cleanliness of the property, under the bed needs a little clean. The pillows possibly need upgrading.

Very nice view from the balcony. A bit complicated but still clear and quick check-in. Close to grocery store and street with bars and cafes. The room and other ooms of the apartment were clean. There was even a rack for drying the clothes, dish washer and washing machine.

The kitchen was missing a sponge for washing the dishes. There were also no paper towels and only the most basic pots.

The apartment was in an excellent location close to local amenities and attractions. The view from the balcony was lovely. The bedroom itself was clean and tidy.

There was no furniture or seating on the balcony which was a huge shame we were unable to sit out there and enjoy the lovely view, so some chairs or outdoor seating would be a great addition. The owners or other guests in the apartment with us were very loud on our first night and there was a lot of banging which meant we struggled to get a good night's sleep due to the noise. The pillows were also very thin and not at all comfortable, so new pillows which are thicker or additional pillows would be beneficial. The hand soap in the bathroom had run out and had not been replaced and the bathroom bin was full and overflowing when we got there and was not emptied at all during our stay. So I feel more attention was needed in the bathroom. The hallway smelt strongly of cigarette smoke on a few occasions also. We were a little disappointed with our stay and feel that given the price it was not good value for money.
